Red Maple Bed & Breakfast    

I liked the staff and how they were extremely friendly and helpful. I liked the residential location which was quiet and away from mass tourists. I liked the room with all the comforts it had to offer. I had an excellent 3 night stay. I can't express enough how wonderful all the staff were.

A perfect homely environment. Rooms are sufficiently big, balcony is open, airy and gives a comfortable space to sit. Staff is friendly and helpful. Owner is a well read person who can help you with directions, reaching places etc. He mixed up well with the guests and had breakfast with us, clarified our doubts. Since he stays in the hotel and eats with the guests, he supervises & control the quality service right on the spot. Breakfast was good with Indian dishes. A total family environment and comfortable stay in the hotel.

-There is hard water in the bathroom, that makes it difficult to get foam from the soap. -A few days breakfast was buffet (unlimited) and for a few days it was on order-limited breakfast. It was good in both the ways but I think it should be buffet everyday.

It's in the South extension area and close to the direct metro line to Hauz Khas village (lots of trendy restaurants) the Dilli Hart tourists markets, Qutab Minar and also for the city at Rajiv Chowk (Connaught Square) and the Fort. It is a small very friendly place, modern, spotless and feels more like a boutique hotel than a bed and breakfast. With only 6 large well appointed rooms, balcony, tea making facilities, a good shower, lovely cosy doona and fairly good free wi fi everywhere. Very good buffet breakfast area and a good chef for other meals, Very friendly and helpful staff, I felt very at home there and returned twice after a trip to Agra and Nepal. A good quiet location away from the infamous areas in the city centre.

It is a bit difficult for taxi drivers from the airport to find, make sure you have the telephone number so they can get directions as no 49 Amrit Nagar appears not to exist but is actually around the corner. They'll try to charge you a lot extra otherwise. Once you know where it is it's easy to find and show them.

Nice food. The staff and owners are extremely friendly. The location is great too. All-in-all, a great place to stay at.

I liked the warm family welcome that we received, we felt as if we were part of the family and the owner and his staff couldn't do enough for us.

Spacious room with extremely comfortable beds, with modern finishings and nice large showers. The pictures are a very accurate reflection of the room you get. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, bringing up hairdryers, iron boards, helping us get a taxi or tuk tuk whenever we wanted.

The location is not great for sight seeing as it is in the newer part of Delhi

Difficult to find and we were given unclear directions to the metro. Also the street is a bit busy at night.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is small, clean and comfortable. The place is not so easy to find, but when you have located it, you can feel like at home. I would recommend Red Maple B&B if you are travelling to New Delhi.

Service was excellent--rooms spacious, beds very comfortable, lots of hot water, fluffy towels, clean clean clean! Harminder was so responsive, answering all our questions online before we arrived--he booked airport pickup, excellent car and driver (Mr. Subhash) for 4 day round trip to Agra (Taj Mahal, Red Fort). The handpicked staff: Ashok, Bikram and others were delightful--personable and professional. We ordered several dinners from their excellent kitchen--the food was prepared with lovingkindness and was most delicious!! The included breakfast was a buffet of tasty Indian dishes as well as made-to-order omelets, all the guests were charmingly engaging. We were so impressed with Red Maple B&B and Harminder's careful attention to the finest detail, that after our initial 6-day stay in Delhi and almost a month of seeing Agra, Ft. Cochin, Allepey, Varkala, Kovalam, Trivandrum and Varanasi, we returned to Red Maple B&B for our final two days in Delhi. It felt like coming home. Warm and familiar, kindness abounding.

This being our first trip to India, we booked Red Maple because of the rave reviews online. Price was reasonable as well. Their location's a bit out-of-the-way (tuk tuk drivers always had to ask directions--we just carried a biz card with Red Maple's address).

Staff hostpitality and peaceful

It's been our fist time to have been in India, I was very very panic about the transportation and the procedures to entry into the airport, etc. Thank God, All the people in the hotel was so so nice, they helped us book the taxi, nake the phone call to the airport, printed our E-ticket, prepare the nice food, etc. They gave us assistance and suggestion on everything!!! We really appreciated their kindness during our stay. I just wanted to say "thanks" to everyone in the hotel, however words cannot fully express our gratitude!!! Wish you all the best!

This a wonderful B&B , very clean, food was great , staff very helpful and it has a very modern feel. Room was lovely and bathroom was a good size

The only fault we had was the fan and air conditioner were noisey

Great staff. Gives the feeling of home stay. I got there around 7 in the morning and they let me check in early. Food is good and kitchen staff was ready to cook anytime even in the middle of the night when I came back from city hungry.

A bit difficult to find. Taxi drivers often get lost between the small streets.

Very friendly atmosphere and wonderfully quiet. A rareness for Delhi!!

The room was clean and comfortable; the owners were helpful and ran an efficient business.

Meals (including breakfast) were okay, but nothing special. The hotel is quite out of the way from any tourist site, and indeed not a single cab I took could find it. I'd recommend that they "sell" their own neighborhood a bit more--I didn't realize until the day I left that there was a lively shopping mall complex down the street, with a coffee shop and for all I know pleasant dining options. This would make the place feel less isolated. They might try writing out a set of instructions to hand taxi drivers, too--the map didn't seem to help them.

Less on choice though but the quality of breakfast was no lwss than any gourmet breakfast of any 5 star hotel. Food (A La carte) is really amazing. Homely food and I loved it. Moreover, its very economical as well.

The staff were very helpful and gave very good advice. On this trip I also stayed in three other hotels in India with similar prices. This was by far the best of the four hotels I stayed in.

Staffs are very helpful

The hotel asked me booking 4 nights because my flight arrives at midnight. Finally flight delayed and I arrived after 12:00 next afternoon. Missed the 1st night. But it's still charged.

There is no wifi when I stayed there even though we asked for several times when they said the wifi had problem.

Helpfull staff, good food in the restaurant, breakfast quite good.

insects in the room, aircondition in the room is noisy, ear plugs needed. Sheets not very clean. But you cannot expect everything to be perfect in this level. Good value of money anyway.

Ich kann das Red Maple sehr empfehlen, v. a. für Individualreisende, die noch keine festen Pläne haben. Die indischen Gastgeber beantworten gerne alle Fragen zu Indien und seiner Kultur, oder geben auch gerne Reiseempfehlungen ab. Wir waren zu einer Hochzeit eingeladen und hatten viele Fragen betreffend korrekter Kleidung, Verhaltensweisen, Geschenke, usw, die uns die Gastgeber gerne und ausführlich beantworten konnten. Vielen Dank!
