Score from 8 reviews Good
The setting is wonderful, beyond the small village of Khuri at the edge of the dunes. The silence is amazing. The life of the village appears to continue much as has for hundreds of years. Camels and peacocks wander just outside the hotel. The food at dinner was excellent and offered a taste of very different local dishes.
The entertainment program was mediocre. The management was quite flexible in pricing, but did attempt to overcharge.
Location- nearest resort to SAND DUNES (1km). Good simple veg food served along with mirchi subzi for teekha lovers.
Some cleanness is needed specially in bedsheets & towels.
Excellent hospitality and they cater to every need, the staff are very friendly.
The rooms could have been a little cleaner
I stayed at the guesthouse for 1 day. Being a non frequent traveller whjo has been a city girl all her life, travelling to a distant land with hardly people to see, long lost roads to cover and new place to live in is not an easy to live experience. However, Registan guest house made the stay much easier. I realised the importance of being told "please feel at home". The staff was trustworthy, friendly, courteous and considerate. It was absolutely value for money except this judgement can vary for each of you therefore check for the prices for each service in advance. Camel Ride was an amazing experience Plus! Sleeping in the open desert in solitude still brings me the thrill although worth it . It was completely safe. In-fact it poured a little tiny drops of rain at night. All in all it was a perfect experience for me.
Nice tent, entertainment program was good.
Dinner was good, but was disappointed with breakfast when they said it was alu parontha, but in actual they had stuffed it with rice instead of alu.
The Personalized touch of the owner, the over all ambience of the place, the night camp, with dances and all. Worth a second visit.
Tents were nice. Staff is very helpful.
Food was not up to mark.
The locations is magnificent just next to the dunes. The owner works hard to please his guests.THe transport to and from Jaiselemer was well organised and efficient The food is all vegetarian and very good. The rooms are simple, clean and with running water which is a luxury so close to the desert. Get the dance and music show, it is a great spectacle.
They said we would go on a jeep safari and look for animals which did not really happen.
