Sofitel Mumbai BKC    

Everything! The place is fantastic with great service and extremely professional attitude of hotel staff. We stayed in Room 616 and it had city view- right from entering the room, we were really WOWed by the decor and comfort of the room. 5 star service and that too for under 30k INR incl taxes n breakfast for 3 nights. The Pondicherry Cafe has an All Day dining and we had our breakfasts every day ( included in price). To say the least, food was awesome and the spread was fabulous from Indian to continental to Mandarin. Even the dinner at Pondicherry Cafe on the night we arrived was very good with fine dining experience. The swimming pool was good. We didn't try Zyran or Tusker but I heard good reviews about it. The location is good in Financial centre and all the areas like Airport, Nariman Point, Gateway of India, etc are about 30-40 mins drive in a taxi. Overall, a fantastic experience!!

The food was excellent and the wait staff are very proffessional and courteous.

In there brochure they advertise a manicure/pedicure service, but it is not actually offered at hotel. I was very dissapointed they didn't have this service or offer a alternate location for this service.

nice large rooms, comfortable beds, good food, working wifi, mosquito-free roooms good tour with driver booked from the hotel friendly staff that got everything organized in the end, though still some communications problems (see -)

a few things do not work that great: - mobile number that was given me to call in case I could not locate the pick-up at the airport was not available (and I only found the pick up due to some locals that were picking up my co-traveller) - I had prebooked a tour with a car for Mumbai, had to clarify it three times with different persons, and each time they could not find it in their computer system again - I asked for not getting disturbed, and that something that I would collect something that was send in the morning, still I got a call from the front desk in the evening - Ask whether they have a large event, rooms in the 7th floor might be prone to noise, they were really kind about switching the room, but I would have prefered a different one from the beginning Still, as I wrote, they were all really friendly and arranged everything.

Rooms are stunning design and exceptionally clean, with beautiful toiletries etc The breakfast and dinner buffets are incredible. I will, without doubt, stay here everytime I am in Mumbai.

Staff are VERY polite, but service is a little disorganised and slow.

Dislike the way fraud and swindling suffered by at your hotel have been withdrawn a sum of money from me and no longer to have tried to tell the employee but is not convinced my words and what I checked my accounts and bank found that you've deduct the amount of additional financial did not count in the final account I return the money or make a complaint to seetruth Details are as follows When I got to the hotel was withdrawn an amount of 3000 rupees Then withdraw an amount of 11,000 rupees in the next day As well as on the third day was withdrawn an amount of 11,000 rupees After that work was attended by the amount of 40,000 rupees as well as 21,000 rupees In the final account was $ 82,000 rupees Though the account has been withdrawn from me for the total was 86,000 rupees Note that I booked through the Internet I want to check my accounts and bills your residence and return my money and thank you very much

A little bit far away from the airport and the south Mumbai, you better have a car to take you around.

The hotel is a five star hotel but it is very far from South Mumbai. The hotel is about a year old but the quality of the workmanship of certain things is poor. The electrics didn't work properly and the plug sockets were temperamental. The hotel did facilitate a change of room which was better.

The hotel is new, opened in august 12. It is very modern . For vacation , is a bit far from the turist area.

The restaurant smells the kitchen , and you get smooked.

The hotel is great! Room very nice , smeels good e in the hotel area there is lounge music. Its brand new, opened august 2012.

If you are here for vacations , then its a bit far from colaba. Hotel taxi costs 100 us , taxi in the street 10 us. It takes 30 min to go there.

The hotel was convenient, clean, and well designed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The service was excellent.

Some communication errors in the bedding configuration in the first visit. These were fixed relatively promptly and the next two visits were very good.
