A l'arrivée, ils avaient loue toute les chambres de l'hôtel et m'ont donne une chambre supposément meilleure dans un autre hôtel du groupe, le Yatri a un coin de rue. Je ne trouvais pas cet hôtel mieux que le Sunstar Heights à mon avis la propreté des corridors et de la salle de bain laissait à désirer.

Gute Lage, Schönes Zimmer. Ich habe das Sunstar Heights Hotel gebucht gehabt und man wollte mich in ein anderes Hotel umbuchen da es anscheinend keine freien Zimmer mehr gab. Da ich aber zuvor mit einer Reisegruppe unterwegs war und unsere Tour in Delhi endete konnte ich mir mit einem ein Doppelzimmer teilen und somit doch dort die letzte Nacht übernachten. Wir mussten aber beide unser gebuchtes Einzelzimmer bezahlen. Ansonsten hätten wir die Wahl gehabt ein Einzelzimmer in einem anderen Hotel zu bekommen, was wir nicht wollten, denn wir hatten schließlich das Sunstar Heights gebucht!

All in all, a good budget hotel. Clean, with friendly staff, free wi-fi in the rooms, metro station within walking distance. Relatively small rooms, no lobby, dirty street outside.

It was within walking distance to the famous Karol Bagh market. Good restaurants - spicy by nature, Punjab sweets. Hotel and area is filthy, so many beggars, constant harassment by cab drivers. Hotel - dirty, day manager is rude, night manager is better, when they give you a taxi driver for the day they do not clarify with the driver if he knows where the guest wants to go so the driver acts like he can't find the stores and takes you to places where he gets commission. So much corruption. This happened to us and then the driver swore at us in Hindi, which we understood and spoke. We told the driver to take us back to the hotel, then the host at the desk still wanted to charge us. We only went to one place and that took yhe driver an hour to find. When we refused he refused to call a different driver unless we paid 400 for last driver and 1100 for new one. When we said no, he said he wouldn't call is a cab. We got extremely angry, but still nothing changed. This is a problem throughout India. We hadn't been to India in 30 yrs and probably won't go back soon. I wouldn't stay at this hotel is you have the financial means to stay at a 5 star American hotel. This hotel is only for people who can't afford better and therefore are willing to put up with nonsense and filth.
