The hotel is conveniently located close to the beach - approx. 5 minutes' walk. The staff were very helpful & courteous: we didn't have any problems with any of them. In fact they went one step ahead specifically referring to an issue I was trying to get sorted out with regard to my flight ticket: thanks to all members of staff who helped. The room was spacious (at least compared to many of the other hotels we stayed in during our trip to India) & spotless. There is a nice little balcony and we enjoyed spending time there. Overall quite happy with this hotel & wouldn't hesitate recommending to friends / family.

Issue 1: Food was a disappointment mainly with regard to the complimentary breakfast. There was hardly anything on the table! Didn't see a toaster for the bread & the chappati had no curry - just yogurt & pickle! No other food item was available. May be a cost saving move during off peak season? I couldn't help complaining to the only member of staff available in the restaurant. This was an absolute shocker when compared to the other hotels where we were spoilt for choice. Breakfast on day 2 was better (it seems my comments were taken on board), but could still have been a lot better although some effort had been made to improve the range. Issue 2: The satellite channels couldn't be accessed properly (frozen / distorted images). Upon complaining, the maintenance guy turned up immediately, but confidently told me that it was a problem with the service provider (not the set top box [stb] & that there was nothing he could do: I believed him. However later I saw all channels (same service provider's) in another hotel with absolutely no problems. Upon returning to the hotel I summoned him & requested him to take another look. He replaced the stb. He told me he would be back later to see if it was working, but I never saw him again (issue was never resolved till we left & I knew he wasn't going to bother). So much for responsibility! I was very disappointed with his attitude.
