We had the most wonderful experience at the hotel. We arrived early one morning (8.30am) and were escorted to our room; asked for a late check out the next day and once again, they obliged. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The restaurant was very pleasant and the food was delicious; the waiters even had a laugh with us. We could not be more happy with The Gateway Hotel Fatehabad Agra and will sure to recommend it to others who wish to visit Agra. We loved the fact that it was a little trip to the Taj Mahal as we got to enjoy the journey and see "life in Agra" as we left the each time. I wouldn't stay anywhere else next time.

Super place for stay in. Very clean, good service.Nice pool. Friendly staff. Near of the hotel very nice restaurant Pinch of Spice- very good indian food. 100% positive recommendation.

Staff very thoughtful, always asking if we were happy with our room. Pool area is nice has a colonial feel which I like. Hotel seriously needs a facelift or rebuild. The room was incredibly noisy - we had no choice but to pay more for a Taj Mahal view room, which actually wasnt that great and the windows were not sealed at all so traffic noise was very loud - in India the honk continuously and seems that plenty of big trucks follow this route in the wee hours. Bad sleep = bad stay, would never reccomend this hotel.

The hotel was beautifully decorated, the rooms were spacious and well equipped. We booked ourselves in for a massage which was very good although at £35 for an hour - quite expensive. Staff were friendly and helpful although probably a little too imposing. The pool looked lovely although it was too cold when we visited to actually swim in it. The room had a a view of the Taj Mahal. The food in the restaurant was average, although the restaurant itself was very nice. The are around the hotel wasnt particularly nice.. Although I am not sure if any of Agra is really that "nice".

Superior room was quite something - a suite rather than a room. Very spacious, beautifully furnished, and luxurious in all respects. The restaurant is good and reasonably priced, if a little lacking in character.

- The indian breakfast - the restaurant : good food, good service - location may not seem glamourous but the other well-rated hotels' locations are worse. - Just freezing in the lounge - well, it's just Agra, so do not expect a romantic stay

This was an extremely friendly service oriented hotel with an excellent atmosphere. Staff were very attentive and engaging; the in house restaurants were excellent and the quality of service throughout was epic. We had a Taj Mahal facing room but the minor risk is one of street/traffic noise in the early morning - but worth the risk.

This is an excellent hotel. The staff was very courteous,friendly and most attentive. Restaurant dining was very good. Nice rooms. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Agra. For the money its an excellent value. Nothing

Great service, excellent restaurant, fairly close to Taj and Fort The Taj view is only for morning/daytime as the sight is not lit during the night for security reasons, which is contrary to popular opinion
