huge property. very very green loved the lagoon quiet amazing staff attitude, very courteous

restaurant menu too common. choices didnt really differ in different restaurants. poolside sercive to be more prompt huge conferences should be separated for all meals from regular guests (incldg breakfast). too intimidating for regular guests who are paying A bomb to be there by themselves.

The surroundings/grounds were quite beautiful. Very relaxing atmosphere Rooms were very well appointed-comfortable and clean. Staff were very polite. Swimming pool was excellent. Close to the beach

Food and drinks were very expensive.

We were with an elderly person and found the buggy service a bit poor and slow. Also, felt that for the room rate that was charged, wifi could have been included

I liked the luxurious lobby, the size of the rooms, the very new and convenient bathroom, the opening hours of the buffet, the water served free of charge at buffet, the space around the swimming pool, the sun beds on the beach.

I disliked the attitude of most of the staff, and this made our stay quite umpleasant all in all. The responsible of the transfers was impolite, unable to take into consideration our request, showing no interest in finding a solution, or only in apologizing for not finding one. All the staff in general was well trained in doing their job, but absolutely not capable of reacting to small changes or small special wishes. In any 5* hotel I expect - hope... - that the communication will not simply end with "not possible, Madam" with no attempt to please, no discussion, and no apologize. It is a pity that with such attitude the staff can make such a luxurious place only a "quite ok option".

Mosquitos - the lagoon attracts a lot of them

We enjoyed the feeling of being in a villa and were glad to have a balcony - the gardens and lagoons are beautiful. The room was very comfortable and beautifully appointed and serviced. The beach was perfect for us - palm trees, safe water, soft sand, good hotel service with sunbeds and drinks. The pool also lovely in its tropical setting. The main restaurant was good, and we had a good meal at the Italian on the river.

The only disappointment was the seafood beach restaurant. The ambiance and service was good, but we did not enjoy our fish meals (tandoori lobster and fish of the day) and there was a mix up with our bill that we had to point out. But - the staff were the usual courteous Leela standard and were very apologetic so we did not mind. A complimentary drink might have been nice!

The hotel atmosphere is amazing! you are literary living in a semi jungle that is steps away from an awesome beach! Room was nice, staff were friendly, and food was good.

-Mosquitoes, mosquitoes, mosquitoes! - restaurant staff were SLOW! they forget items you order and you end up reminded them. - the bathtub in my room wasn't clean, could still see some "hair & residues " from previous guest, so i actually didn't use it at all!

Lack of free wireless at the hotel.

The service was fantastic in particular the room decorations by the house manager. We were made to feel special and also the facilities and the lagoon rooms were fantastic.

Bed too firm

Well laid out resort with lot of green and water bodies. Proximity to a lovely beach. A large restaurant to ensure breakfast is a relaxed affair . Decent spread at the b/f time.

* Swimming pool: Many families just simply dont understand swimming pool etiquette. For eg. During my stay I notice that people dont shower before entering the pool. This is grossly unhygienic. No one is around to inform people about such important rules. I have seen mothers dunk their infants into the water with their diapers on !!! And many people simply waded into the pool with their regular dress as if its a stroll in the park. Disgusting. I was appalled that the hotel management doesn't seem to bother. The pool was also filled with insects and other garbage. * there is not much to do in the resort itself. the Night club Aura is not exactly a family friendly place. May be this being an off-season, the hotel didnt seem to plan any entertaining activities in the evnening. So if you are with family and want to enjoy the experience, your choices are very limited
