The staff members except for the one were better.
I don't want to stay in this hotel again because one of the hotel clerks at the front desk wearing a black or dark uniform were arrogant, selfish, lack of politeness, and lack of hospitality.
To make a long story short… Once and never, ever again. This is the first bad hotel review I’ve done in my life. I do travel for a living and I know standards from 2* pensions in Berlin to 5* hotels in Singapore and everything in between. The whole experience started with the check in. I arrived at 10pm with my colleague, who picked me up from the airport but checked in already one day prior. The receptionist asked my colleague for his name and he said, that he’s already checked in. I told the receptionist my name and said, that I would like to check in. The receptionist completely ignored me and asked my colleague again for his name. I wanted to hand him my passport and said again, that is it me, who’s checking in and that he can have my passport to see my name. Again, he completely ignored me and flipped through a folder, but of course he couldn’t find a reservation because he didn’t know what he was looking for. After three minutes or so, I repeated my offer to give him my passport which was acknowledge with a grunting noise and the flipping went on. After another 3 minutes or so, his superior came and said “Good Evening, Sir!” And that’s when I lost it. I said “Good Evening!” To which the reception manager replied “Yes, Ma’am.” I then said “It’s not yes, Ma’am. It’s Good Evening, Ma’am or don’t you greet you female guests like it is right and proper.” I told him, that I am appalled by the behaviour. The manager’s attitude changed a little bit when he found out that I am the one paying for both rooms, but that was anything but a friendly welcome. The hotel rooms are dirty. My sheets had black stains all over and for a second I thought about sleeping in my clothes. Unfortunately, the next day, when I ask for them to be changed and the room to be cleaned properly, nothing was done. On top of this, if you want warm water, you have to call reception and wait for 15 minutes. My request to have hot water at all times, was ignored.
The location is near to where I wanted to go, and there was free wifi.
The rooms are too dark, the floor was not clean. It was mentioned that in the room comes with complimentary extra bed (upon request), but that was not true. Nobody seems to know about it. Taxes are just too much.
staff lack of basic amneties
No towels in the bathroom. Took them half an hour to provide one after asking. No drinking water provided until repeatedly asked for. Shoddy attitude. will not stay there again.
Staff behavior is friendly.
Clumsy entry of the hotel. Poor coordination about the reservations from booking.com Extremely noisy. Rooms are small. Complimentary b'fast didn't have much variety.
