Hotel Tourist Deluxe  

The inhouse adjoining restaurant was faultless in my own personal opinion & the vegetarian food served was excellent value for money and freshly cooked. The staff on the reception & the doormen at Hotel Tourist De-luxe made my 3 day stay there most enjoyable. I was also very impressed with the security arrangements at hthis hotel.

It is reasonably good but the outer ambienece is not good. I think, it is more than 5 min walk from railway station. It should be corrected in webpage. My idea is to be honest to the customers

Food/breakfast was not so good. It may be improved.

We stayed there on 3 separate occasions whilst passing through Delhi and the staff were very friendly. The food and the bar service were good. It was close to the New Delhi railway station which suited our purpose as we travelling by train.

Although the location suited our travel purposes the street noise was loud. However, it was generally quiet after 11.00 pm and on through the night.

- As the hotel is located in Old Dehli, the area is very surprising specially when you just arrive in India; however, once you are in the hotel, you forget it.

Chose this hotel due to its close location to Delhi railyway station as I was making a number of rail journeys. The hotel is actually only a 5- 10 minute walk from the station. A 20-30 minute walk gets you to Connaught Place, if you can repel the rick-saw drivers offers of transport. Staff were pleasant and helpful and pre-arranged my pick-up from the airport at no cost. Tended to eat out so cannot really comment on the food. The area the hotel is located is quite run-down and busy, however as a single 59 year old male I always felt very safe walking about including at night. In fact the locals went out of their way to say hello and were very pleasant. An ideal transit hotel

I found a new way of cheating.

Room service placed a very dirty bed sheet in my room, when I was in the city. I did not realize what was the name of the game before I was checking out. They charged me 1000 Rp for bed sheet "destroyed by me" I made a big noise but in a huryy to get to airport, had to pay I told that they can find this case from internet, maybe the reason I was refunded 450 Rp when I was waiting for the taxi

Free Wi-Fi, very good price, central location, good connection to railway station, helpful staff.

It's safe to stay in the hotel, the staff was friendly, said they offer free pick up, but when you contact them, they had so many excuse saying no, I would strongly suggest you book a hotel without pick up then book the service from the hotel. It's really tiring to negotiate with them. 总的来说还是安全的，但是比较旧也比较破，空调很吵，我觉得花那么多的钱应该可以住到一家比这个质量好的酒- 店了，不明白为什么评分那么高。说是有免费的接机，但是酒店找着各种理由不给你。还是建议大家直接订间没有- 接机服务的，自己付费安排接机比较方便。

The room is small, not very clean compare to the other hotel that I stay in delhi, over price for vaule, the location is good if you want to catch a train, if not I would suggest you stay somewhere else. The AC is noisy, the street is noisy and dirty. Not that close to the train station as well, it has some distance. 空调很吵，街道也很吵。如果你不是要赶火车，我强烈建议你住到别的地区，这片区域环境比较差。

Walking distance to railway station+breakfast was good.

Location was great,close to every thing you would want to see in Delhi. the rooms and staff were excellent.

dirty neighbourhood

Not much actually. I tried it out as the ratings showed pretty high. In fact, higher than another hotel for the same rate, in the same area where I stayed before. But I was disappointed.

It is not really as fancy or polished as the website makes it out to be. I stayed at the Pearl earlier and for the same rate, it is vastly better.

Don’t expect a lot it’s a budget hotel, like I read so many reviews I was driven to book this hotel; though it came across as a reliable option; as an ok stay and genuine hospitality but the area is crowded!

Noisy air condition,bad location..

The rooms which i got there was really comfortable and clean.The service was excellent.they also allowed me to connect to wifi for free in a room. They also provide me free pick up from the airport.very safe hotel for single lady.

The location was the only drawback.this is not good area but very close to train station.

My stay here was happy and peaceful. No noise and serene inside premises.staff was very kind and helpful.

Hotel was good but location was bad.

During my business trip I had to take 1 day stoppage in delhi and then move for my next destination. I chose this hotel because it was close to railway station. I found out it to be an old hotel, simple yet, with 3 star services. But willingness of the staff to serve made me write about this hotel.I got the best price for car rental as they arranged a small local excursion for me in Delhi so that i cold spend my spare time. I liked this property because of peace and no noise in rooms though you can hear window AC making mild sound (at least in my room), but yet it was peaceful I didn’t come across people making noise outside rooms, which generally happens in hotels, even though they claim themselves to be sound resistant. I got my value for money, I am happy.

very short stay only for one night.only quite hotel in paharganj.room was clean and comfortable.free wifi you can use in the room.important is you can walk to the train station.

if location not matter for you this is best hotel near station.

The people of the reception were very friendly and nice. We asked for using internet and they offered us their office pc for free for unlimited time. They were kind also giving informations about city. The location is pretty good, far enough from the noise of traffic jam but the area around the hotel is not what we can call a touristic place, but it was what we needed in that occasion (also tuk tuk drivers were less pushing and the prices were more reasonable compared to connaught place or close to the red fort).

The food of the restaurant inside the hotel was decent, nothing special, comparing to the price. Is possible to find something better in the city. The room was clean, but in three days nobody cleaned our room. The man of the travel desk was incredibly pushing, asking us to book a taxi to the airport and calling up in the room to book a tour of the city and (again) a taxi to the airport. Quality and price are not the same.

The hotel was well above my expectation I have no doubt. The rooms which I got there were really comfortable and clean. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The restaurant provides me good breakfast and lunch and dinner was also enjoyable. The service was excellent. They also allowed me to connect to wifi for free in a room. They provide me free pick up from the airport. My experience with this hotel was really good and convenient if you want to catch a early train.

There was no hair dryer in the room but they will provide you if you want and location was not so good.is ok if you want budget hotel near station this is the best option.

best location,few minutes walking distance from new delhi train station.staff cheerful,friendly and always ready to help.restaurant is very good,rooms are very clean and specious.

area is not good but when enter in the hotel you forget about area

hotel was very neat and clean,the staff was helpful and friendly.rooms was very specious and the bed was very comfortable.area was not so good from outside.tourist deluxe was one of the best hotel in this area.you will find obtion of good bar and restaurant.i personally recommend this hotel to everyone who want to stay in centre of the city.

Smart modern rooms with comfy beds for Indian standards. Attentive and professional service.staff is always ready to help,good shower, hot water didn't always work, but overall a very pleasant stay. The area might be a bit much for the less seasoned traveler, but colorful and lively to say the least.more important you can walk from train station to hotel.
