I could select the room I wished to stay in. It was beautiful and very clean. The staff were amazing and I left with a parting gift of Fenne. I wanted to stay forever.

There was not a thing I could fault

Peaceful and comfortable stay in Panjim Pousada.

A little bit noisy at The Verandah Restaurant during lunch time.

We stayed at Panjim Inn for two nights this week and I have to say that this was a Goa experience like never before! The property is cosy and steeped in history and culture! My first experience with Panjim Inn was over the phone when I called them from Mumbai to ask about the rooms and other facilities. The gentleman who answered my call was so courteous and forthcoming with information that I was convinced that we had to stay here! From then on we were just counting our days to reach Goa. When we arrived, the reception staff knew our names which showed that they too were expecting us. We were overjoyed when they upgraded our room to the deluxe category. Our room was spectacular! A spacious room with an elaborately carved bed and period furniture in the form of the dresser, cupboard and easy chairs simply took our breath away. Try and stay in this room, it was truly a relaxing and enchanting experience for us. We also had an evening snack in their verandah restaurant. The menu is an eclectic mix of local goan and continental food. Do try their goan sausage chilly served with goan bread. The view from the restaurant is lovely - surrounded by period furniture and curios from a bygone era, overlooking the People's hotel belonging to the same hotel chain. The People's inn also houses the gitanjali art cafe which displays art works by local artisans and sells coffee table book collections by artists like Mario Miranda. Our package included breakfast which was served at their cafe on the ground floor. We were happy with the spread of eggs to order, pancakes, cereals and fresh fruits, tea and coffee. Indian breakfast options like poha, puri bhaji & parathas are also available. We went for countless walks around the hotel - the fontainhas area of panajim. The beautiful and colourful Portuguese and Hindu houses & villas make you feel you have been transported to a different time and place.

Maybe boring for families with kids as there are no activities to do here.

It was a official tour. Me and my colleague. We loved the place for its artistic class, Portugal touch in ambience, furniture! The breakfast was complementary, which had Continental touch,to some extent limited ,little bland. The room was bright ,huge beds decorates with laces! Food on higher side. Did not try! Would definitely recommend to friends! Being ladies we found the place to be safe. staff very friendly n helpful!

Found food to be little bland!

I loved my stay here at Panjim Inn. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They also gave us an upgrade. The Verandah Restaurant on the first floor was really good and the location is charming, there is a relaxing and happy atmosphere, also thanks to the always smiling and hard working staff. It is a special place with all its antique furniture. We liked it so much that we decided to stay one more night. It's just a ten minutes walk from the centre of Panjim. If I'll ever return to Goa, I'll definitely stop by once more.

The breakfast could have more options.

We enjoyed our stay immensely and liked practically every facility, Staff went out of the way to make us comfortable and at Home. Breakfast was the star feature with super variety everyday. Avinash Deai and Valerie made every effort to look after us. Politeness, courtesy and concern are indeed their strong attributes..We would love to be back to Panjim Inn in our next visit to Goa.

Characterful rooms with old furniture and busy tiled bathrooms. Lovely restaurant on veranda - an oasis of peace. Delicious tiger prawns. Delicious banana pancake for first breakfast. Excellent service. Old Goa worth a visit - just take a public bus.

Rate should include all taxes. Panjim itself isn't that interesting, and very smelly indeed beside the river at low tide.

A bit pricey ... Just a few of the staff speak good English.

My wife and I came here at the end of our honeymoon. I had emailed ahead mentioning that it was our honeymoon, hope for a nice upgrade or something small. What they did blew our minds. They covered our bed in flower petals making a heart and a welcome sign out of them. They also gave us a beautiful room and a bottle of wine. The staff was courteous, kind and extremely helpful. We would/will definitely be coming back 100%

Noise from the street but it's India... Clearly overpriced but I would still go back.

I was able to walk into the centre of Panaji and around the water front from the hotel. I really liked the terrace restaurant as a relaxed outdoor space.

Found the food in the hotel terrace restaurant rather bland and over-priced.

The staff were excellent. I arrived a few days after a big birthday and after arrival the I was called and wished a belated birthday which was excellent. The room was lovely - big 4 poster bed just great to fall into after a days exploring. The Verandah restaurant - I ate there twice and really enjoyed the food. I had been looking forward to sampling a Masala fish dish and it did not disappoint. A really excellent stay which concluded my month long visit to India.

It was alright, a little over priced perhaps... but overall we had a nice stay.

The laundry prices were a little overinflated for India. The service overall was a little slow, we waited 20 mins for two drinks one day.

This is a charming older style hotel in the heart of Panjim, but very friendly and comfortable. We enjoyed drinks on the upstairs verandah and also the owners frank and forthright views on events in India's history

The rooms are well done and grand..very interesting ambience...

Although the door and windows were very heritage, they are too large and cumbersome. Something lighter and easier to handle please?
