The room was nice, comfortable bed and the bathroom was clean.

The first night was okay, the AC didn't work however I didn't need it because the weather was cold already and everything was good until the second night where a hundred families came to stay at the hotel at around 11:00pm and that's when problems started to happen. The first thing was the noise, the rooms have no noise cancellation what so ever I mean I can hear people talking all the way across the hall inside their rooms and kids were running around, people yelling and slamming doors and it kept going on all night I managed to go to sleep at around 12:00am but then I woke up to a loud noise at 1:30am and I was freezing because the AC was on and on 18 degrees so I got up and tried to turn it off but the damn thing wouldn't work so I called the reception and they said someone will check it out in a minute, I ended up calling them three times and waited for an hour and then I went down stairs and talked to them and two hours later they moved me temporarily to another room just for the night I mean they said "we're not supposed be doing this" so they're like we're doing you a favor and the next morning they moved me permanently to another floor but all in all it was a horrible night and I definitely would not stay in this hotel even if they offer rooms for free.

The comedy of thinking that nothing else could go wrong...just before something else went wrong

Absentee owner who didn't finish renovations and failed to empower local staff make things work. Electricity that was on and off, mostly off, internet and a/c that was obviously off when the electricity was off, the water that was shut off, the local staff who could not alter the price charged to me even thought I experienced all of the above because the absentee owner failed to empower them to do so. Maybe one day when they grow up they will be a first rate Hotel, but for now the are nothing like what is promised in the advertisment online or in person.

I liked one of their staff named Aya. She is a good careful supervisor and can resolve issues very quickly

I didn't like the facilities not the services they provide. The lights went off for over 7 hours and none of the hotel staff did inform us prior to that situation. The hotel manger is Turkish and doesnot care about the clients. They have history with the travellers as I have been told by some friends.

I'm not a fussy traveller. Hence, I was overall satisfied with my stay. The hotel is located in the Christian community of ainkawa where every second shop is a liquor store. Though the staff don't speak much English, they certainly have a customer oriented mindset - they are eager to help. Especially this Syrian bell boy named Parti.

Day one was horrible. The electricity went off every 15 minutes. There was no air conditioning. Extremely poor Wifi connectivity. No hot water shower. But things changed on day two. Since this hotel is new, they were still in the process of setting it up I guess. Day two onwards, the electricity and air conditioning issue was sorted. But right throughout my stay Wifi continued to be a problem. There was absolutely no hot water. The room seems fairly spacious and the bathrooms are just ok in terms of space. But you would often hear the noise from the main road work-in-progress (at least on the second floor where I was staying). Don't expect a big breakfast spread. Just the basic egg, Arabic bread, cucumber, olive, watermelon and instant coffee. Oh yes... Some juice on my last day as well. But for $82 one cannot expect much for a single occupancy room. I'm sure this place is only going to get better with time!
