This sleek and modern boutique hotel is located in central Reykjavik, next to the Icelandic Opera House. It offers free Wi-Fi, a fitness centre and spa facilities. 101 Hotel also houses a stylish restaurant and bar. Contemporary design, along with black and white interior are featured in every guest room. Each is equipped with a minibar, satellite TV, CD/DVD player and iPod docking station. Some rooms also have harbour views. The in-house restaurant serves traditional Icelandic and international cuisine. It also features special menus for both happy hour and brunch. Guests can enjoy an after dinner drink in the trendy bar. Hotel 101 is located right around the corner from the city’s main shopping street, Laugavegur. I loved the decor and attention to detail. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was just right. Happy hour in the evening was a nice way to start the evening with a good choice of cocktails. We ate dinner in the hotel one evening and really enjoyed it. The bedroom was a nice size and was modern yet comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel was extremely accomodating; from the staff who went out of their way to help us out, to the amazing design of the hotel itself. We were really pleased with it - it was a chic and luxury place to stay. The food was also really nice and the happy hour until 7pm also pretty good!! The location was also perfect - right in the centre of everything. We would definitely recommend.

The design of the hotel and the rooms. The staff were nice. Room service (coffee delivery) was fast and the coffee was very good. Nice place, but not worth the price. Poor workout room.

The bedlinen was beautifully soft, the room had a great DVD / CD system so you can play your own music. The fireplace in the bar is great and you can browse mags. Views of the gorgeous Supreme Court were a plus and proximity to a great breakfast venue was great too. The rooms were a bit small given the price, There was no separate bathroom as such - the sink was in the bedroom. The floor to ceiling windows look great but mean you might be woken very early as the light floods in. A bit form over function - and the monochrome colour scheme is a bit sterile. tries too hard. Very pricey.

Fantastisk dejligt hotel med perfekt beliggenhed. Hotelpersonalet er dybt professionelle og yder den ekstra indsats for at dit ophold bliver helt fantastisk.
