The apartment is very stylish and cosy at the same time. I would love to stay there again...one day.
Reykjavik's party nights are fun and very loud as well. As the apartment sits in the very heart of Reykjavik you hear the party people Friday and Saturday night till dawn.
We loved it was close to shops and restaurants. We could walk to the ocean and everywhere. We also really liked the privacy.
The shower/bath water was super slow.
There's a lot of really cool Art in the Apartments!
There was no cooking vent in the kitchen, and there were no fry pans or pots. So you can only bake in the oven. The hobbs are more or less useless.
Excellent stay in great, central location We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at 37 Apartments! The location was excellent, slap bang in the middle of a very popular central street in Reykjavik. We were spoiled with the size of the room, which could have accomodated 30 guests in the main living space and the cooking facilities were good - with a microwave, hot plate, good sized fridge and espresso maker. (We ate in 2/3 nights.) The television was a great size and we also had use of a mobile phone and IPod speaker System. Despite the size of the room, it was always a good, warm temperature (when it was very cold outside) and the shower was powerful (which is always a big plus for us!) The bed deck was great for us as we're in our twenties, but i'd avoid using this room if you were older or had young children as it's quite precarious walking down the ladder to the toilet in the middle of the night! This was a excellent stay, definitely good value for money! Plus, a big thank you to the owner who provided us with a free bottle of Cava to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th Birthday! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Nothing. Everything was spot on!
The location was very central. Apartment was spotless, staff very helpful with all needs being met. We will definitely be back.
Location Cleanliness Large Appartment Space Great WiFi
The location of these apartments on one of the old Reykjavik's shopping streets is excellent. You can arrange pick up from just outside for day tours and it's easy to walk to almost everything. It's also away from the very touristy area. We asked for a quiet apartment and were allocated the basement, which was perfect for us. The kitchen is basic, but enough to prepare simple meals. It was great to have the local mobile phone provided for making bookings more easily.
Some more detailed information about what is provided would be useful on booking.com or the apartment web site. Also some clearer instructions on arrangements for checking would be useful, although we had no problems, other people might.
The apartment was convenient and close to everything The owner was great Plenty of room
There is nothing not to like a great downtown location
The owners were amazingly helpful and super nice!
That we had to leave.
Just step out the door to be within minutes walking distance to all you could want to see and do within the city itself. Pack you ear plugs if a light sleeper, having said this the noise pollution was minimal for a city centre apartment. Would highly recommend it
Location. Parking. WiFi was great. Two gentlemen who helped us were very accommodating. They also lent us an Icelandic cell phone for our stay.
I don't have any complaints so I cannot write 200 characters for your minimum. I guess they could put a table in the bathroom for your toiletries.
Excellent location; right in the center of the town with parking included. Host (Erik?) was very friendly and helpful and gave us a some suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The use of a cell phone was also included. Sandholt bakery was just across the street, so it was convenient for breakfast and lunch - good food/value. Overall a great place to stay.
Location to City Centre Comfortable Well equipped
Simple but had all the amenities we needed. Having the cell phone that was provided was excellent and extremely helpful. Great location with parking.
I spent 5 nights in this cozy apartment. The owner is a very nice person, offer me the red house in the yard. I would highly recommend my friends to choose 37 apartment if anyone plan to travel to Reykjavik.
Spacious appartment, Very nice artistic style and furniture, Great location
Apartment is very clean and cosy. It's very near to city center. Actually in middle of city center. You can go and back as many as you feel like taking a rest at the home. Additionally we liked the art stuff put on the apartment. It's very nice.
The apartment is in the nicest street in Reykjavik. You stay in the middle of the nicest shops and bars. The owners are very sweet and helpful. They live a bit further down the street, you can reach them any time. The room is very stylish. Somebody did a very good job designing the kitchen, closet and bed for this room. The doors to the hallway and stairs are very well isolated, so you hardly hear the other guests.
We stayed there at the weekend that has the most parties going on. We happen to live in the centre of Amsterdam, so we are used to some noise. But if you are not used to noisy people at night, you should ask for a room that is not on street side of this building, or any other frontside room in this street in this weekend.
We were given the red house which was simply sensational. It even had a washing machine. I would highly recommend anyone who stays here to ask for the red house if it's available...would definitely stay there again !!!!!
Staff were super friendly/informative. Couldn't have picked a cleaner place with a fantastic location. Walking distance to everything. Wifi was great, and parking was essential!
Location and facilities.
The only downside is that because the apartments are so close to the bars, it can be quite noisy at night!
a free cellphone was included for local use.
We liked the modern and spacious studio apartment. It was warm and comfortable. It was just steps away from great sights and shopping.
There needs to be a full length mirror, outside the bathroom, within reach of an outlet so that guests can use a dryer to dry their hair and not be so far from a mirror. Also, we were already in Paris without access to email when we received the request to email our flight number and arrival time.
The owner went out of his way to make our honeymoon extra special. We had a upgrade from the apartment to a gorgeous little house and we even got a basket of goodies on arrival as a congratulations. He also gave us a mobile phone to make local calls and so we could access the internet when out and about, which was invaluable. The location was perfect. The accommodation came with a washing machine too, which was handy. There is also a good sized car park.
The apartment had what was needed to cook in house. The gentleman that greeted us was helpful and knowledgeable. I would stay again if I ever return to Iceland.
