Excellent and helpful staff.
1.Room balcony door's lock damaged. 2.Listed Bar's item in the room, but told that should be NO Bar's item.(Or else I may ask to pay before I leave.)
the breakfast was perfect
the room was little for 3 people
No heat - it gets cold!
-good location -clean and cheap -staff let us into the room early -can book tours and airport shuttle from the hotel
a minor complaint, but we left postcards with them to mail that never made it out. not sure if it's the fault of the hotel or postal service, though
Even though I had an early departure I got a breakfast package. Lots of restaurants, pubs and cafés nearby.
They were nice enough to let us check in early. Their breakfast was quite awesome!
Shared bathroom, sink in room was quite small, their parking was weird because the road to the basement parking seemed like it should be a 1 way but it was 2 way and quite cramped. The basement door was locked when we came back at 6 pm so we didn't know how to check for parking spots there.
The breakfast is delicious! The location is perfect!
Water taste sulfur. A bit noisy during the night, but it's ok since it's located on main street
Very helpful staff.Easy transport to the airport
Large room, tv Very accommodating with breakfast- made up a packed breakfast as we were leaving early! Also drove us to the airport for cheaper than the buses.
The staff are very helpfull and very friendly
The smell of the hot water
Drains from bathrooms quite smelly in corridor.
Cosy Hotel in the very centre of Reykjavik. Staff is very good and aware. Continental breakfast with a lot of choice.
Not very comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms are very narrow. I think this Hotel is not very good for a long time stay.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is convenient. Rooms were small but comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. They also made us a packed breakfast on our departure day as we had to leave early. Highly recommended.
Nothing bad to say about this hotel.
Hotel is clean and comfortable, conveniently located for shopping, eating and nightlife. Very helpful staff provided great dining options, helpful driving directions for out of town excursions and a breakfast to go the early morning of our departure. Great value in Reykjavik.
Nightlife continues late into the night and one side of the hotel is located on the busy street. If you need a quiet room, opt for one on the other side. The rooms may be a bit more, but are also larger and very quiet.
The 4th floor hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Reykjavik, close to restaurants at attractions. Lots of shops nearby as well. Also it's one of the hotels that offer 3 separate beds.
location is very good in the sense that majority of attractions are nearby. the only drawback is that it is at a major/main street which means a lot of both vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
The location is very central practically on the Main Street and 10mins walk to the square. Room was very clean apart from the bathroom got very wet as no ventilation. Breakfast was lovely but they did tend to run out of bits by 10, if we asked the staff were happy to cook more for us and they also made us a packed breakfast on our departure day as we had to leave early. Room was a bit small but funky decor (mostly ikea) to mix things up a bit.
The bathroom did not have ventilation which meant the room became wet and the bedroom windows steamed up. There was no mould or anything but I imagine this is hard to keep on top of, especially as the rooms are quite warm.
- Very good service (I left before breakfast but they had a packet of bread for me ready, though I did not ask for), - Good location - Car rental on site available - Shared bathroom was always clean
- Room was a bit small - Blankets not thát clean
Easy walking distance to everything in the City yet the room was quiet. We had a room on the curve on the building which was spacious by European standards. European breakfast buffet was outstanding. They even gave us a box breakfast to go on our last am as we were leaving at 4:30am.
Shower was small (not a big deal)
There were old toothpaste remains in the toothbrush holder in the bathroom. No pressure in bathroom water tap Surfaces show signs of wear and tear.
Close to the main attractions and downtown as well the included breakfast was very good.
Very good hotell right next to the main street and close to the water. Evan if you share toilett and shower it was never occupied and it was always clean.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The location is superb. They were flexible with my checkout time which helped me enjoy my last day there. The included breakfast was nice. It was very clean.
I think Reykjavik is generally expensive. I thought the price for a shared bath was a little high, but that may just be the location. I really have no complaints!
1) Value; 2) Location relative to city center and attractions; 3) Friendly staff; and 4) Packed breakfast for early departure to airport (5am)..
