The location worked well for a quick stopover in Iceland. Not far to get into Reykjavik, close to the Blue Lagoon and close to the airport for early morning flight.
Attractive guest house close to the town of Keflavek which was a nice place to spend some time. The proprietor packed me a sandwich and juice box since I had to leave at 6:00.
The walls were paper thin. I could hear the folks in the next room distinctly even though they weren't being especially loud. Bring earplugs. If you have to leave early be prepared for the 5 min trip to cost $20 by taxi because of the surcharge.
Although I was only there for one night, I was particularly impressed by the staff. They went out of their way to assist me - making phone calls, having breakfast ready for my 5am start, not to mention running the hot tub, which was definitely a fine way to say goodbye to Iceland! I would definitely recommend staying here.
Lived up to its name as a 'Deluxe bed and breakfast'. The lady owner was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Good location for the Airport. Excellent value for money with beautifully presented rooms.
The room was clean, not very big but still confortable. Magnus, the owner, was very kind to spend almost 1h to give me some excelent tips about Iceland. I would go back again for sure. Another strong point: it's a family business so they're interested in having happy customers.
While the breakfast is not bad could be a little more diverse.
Very good location for first or last night on Iceland (easy to find, close to the airport). Nice rooms and helpful staff. Hot tub, sauna available but Blue Lagoon is close too.
Take away early morning breakfast was just sandwich and a juice.
Loved the place. Great value for money. Warm welcome. Tastefully decorated and clean.
Walls a bit thin, but it didn't detract from an awesome night's sleep.
Staff very helpful with regards petrol stations and places to eat. We were leaving before breakfast but they offered to let us eat as everything was ready.
Our stay was absolutely amazing because it was so comfortable, warm, quiet & inviting. The staff is a family of locals who treat you like family. Anything you need, they will help you with. The breakfast was also very nice because there is everything you need, including a coffee machine! The hot tub was also amazing and at 2°c an expirience i will never forget. Thank you A10 for helping me have an amazing trip :)
The only downside was travelling to Reykjavik when going on tours. However they help you plan pick ups and the main bus station is simply a 5min walk from A10.
The room had very poor lighting, it was difficult to read. You had ro read because there was no TV or radio.
- room a bit small - doors of rooms quite noisy - one bathroom/toilet for 8 rooms? - no sink in the room
Location close to airport. Clean rooms. Helpful and friendly receptionist. Hot tub.
breakfast very good - near KEF for early morning flight out - nice deck with the room
We don't usually expect much from such a handy airport hotel but this was great fun. So much care taken with the decor - stylish modern wallpaper; chandeliers; some funky extras; everything nicely presented - and the building is also very beautiful. Staff were friendly, looked as stylish as the hotel(!), and were eager to help.
Staff warned that the walls were thin but we didn't notice. We always travel with earplugs anyway, so that's my advice - wherever you go!
Clean,well organized,complimentary ride. To airport.
Clean, pleasant people and interesting decor.
Comfy beds, tasty waffles in the morning. Small rooms and bathrooms but sufficient for a brief stay. Tea and coffee facilities (though the coffee pads in the rooms are stored open on a plate and hence without any aroma).
The young man at the reception in the evening was exceptionally friendly, but the lady serving the breakfast and in charge of the reception in the morning came across as rather hostile. Perhaps a matter of language issues. Small breakfast room that got crowded.
Great Staff and Great Services !!
nothing, it was a great place to stay !!
B&B was very modern, very clean, and comfortable and close to airport, breakfast was excellent.
Taxi ride to airport never happened...not sure why.
The atmosphere was really really design hotel and really beautiful. Each room have own coffee machine and also hot tub and sauna outside for all the guests. Really close to the Keflavik international airport.
It was relly noise at 11pm arrived several couples to the second floor and started to make a lot of noise I asked the stuff to tell them and they didn't refer to that. Moreover part of the room at the hotel without rest room and have shared rest room and during a night it's really trouble that each one open and close doors their. In addition we stayed at room number 3 and we have all of that. Our other couple stayed at room number 1 and have any machine noise during all the night. Several days after that the stuff contact with me by email and I told them about that and they even didn't try to refund me partial the money. It not worth the money, I really recommend another hotel at that area.
Clean new looking facilities, excellent b'fast, nice owners, excellent location to stay if you have an early flight, nice free ride to airport.
There was no guest kitchen facilities and there arent that many great food options in town
rooms are small and there is o TV
- friendly staff - blinding curtains - fast, free wifi - good breakfast - comfy beds - hot tub - good value for money
- smallish room - small bathroom - thin walls
A10 is very close to the Keflavik airport so it is great for early morning departures. The place is spotless. I don't think I have ever seen a cleaner place. The older son was quite helpful and friendly. It was quiet.
We had an early flight and so signed up for a take away breakfast. This ended up being a slice of meat in two pieces of bread and a juice box. There are so many other ways to do this that would have been better. Danish or bread left for making toast. An actual lunch with a fruit and chips and some dressing for the sandwich etc. The good aspects far outweighed this one complaint though.
very convenient to the airport. They have a limo service to the airport but I don't remember if I paid extra for it at booking. The waffles for breakfast were way too good. Iceland hotels are higher priced than other Euro countries. I didn't find any deals but I booked late. In comparison to other hotels, the price at A 10 was reasonable. If you want to find a good value, book early....way early.
room is very small but certainly adequate for a short stay. there wasn't a sink in the room and the toilet and shower were in the hall -- don't remember if I noticed that when booking.
