Perfect location, comfortable, being able to cook was huge benefit, very impressed
Great location, clean and tidy. Great TV with Wi-Fi and apple TV.
Bed was a little small, could fit in a double. Footsteps from above apartment can be loud.
We stayed in the studio apartment and it was small but clean and neat. The kitchen had all that we needed, and having coffee, tea, sugar, milk and cooking oil on hand was such a nice surprise. It sure made eating in easier which is a good idea in Reykjavik (the food is amazing and so are the prices). There is an on-site self serve laundry facility for no extra charge, which was awesome! Parking is limited but you don't need a car as you are in walking distance of most everything in the downtown area. There is a Bonus (grocery store) a five minute walk away as well as multiple great restaurants. The value of this accommodation is high and for very expensive Iceland I would recommend it.
The entry door is right next to the bathroom and there is no shade on it. Adding one would be a great addition. Also a broom to tidy up with would be nice. We were there for several days and the floor could have used a good sweeping.
Beautiful apartment near the Laugavegur. Enough space for 4 - 6 persons. Nice balconies, beds and a big living room. Nice and clean kitchen equiped with coffee and milk, wich was a lovely surprise :)
The apartment was perfect for our needs. Excellent location. Walking distance to everything. Great owner with excellent communication throughout the entire booking process and during our stay when we asked for some additional information.
Can't really fault anything.
All - the location (200 m from center, walking distance), the apartment style and decoration, the easy and good instructions, and the facilities - from dishwasher to coffee capsules. Great place for relaxing in Reykjavik !
Sometimes not easy to find a close parking for the car, but on the other hand - who need a car in this place ?!
Noisy when people go to work on the floor above!
Plenty of space, a good bakers 5 min. Walk away
Position of the bed not so good but there was no other place for it
Cosy decorated apartment, Keys are available via code so late arrival is no problem. Good equipped kitchen.
The badroom is too small, The apartment is very thin-walled and therefore very noisy (mainly from the neighbours upstairs).
We loved the location and the quietness. The quality of the furniture, the decor and equipment which all looked brand new. The apartment was very clean and had a lovely smell. The whole feel of the apartment had an Icelandic feel to it which is something we were searching for. Excellent value for money and we would stay there forever not just a holiday :)
The only thing we didn't like was our stay was only for four days.
Great location, clean & modern. Apple TV a bonus
Fantastic location, lovely decor, good use of small space, stylish, helpful owners
Drains blocked- wet room didn't drain properly which flooded out of the bathroom
perfect location, building has a lot of character, you really feel like becoming a part of Reyykjavik
The studio apartment is cosy but big enough for a couple with everything you need for your stay. The location is fantastic, being an easy walk from all the main attractions in Rekjavik. The owners provided lots of information before arrival which was very useful and there was even some milk in the fridge when we arrived!
The shower has a tendency to flood the hallway if you have it on the full setting. On a more gentle setting it is fine for a few minutes. It wasn't a major problem just a minor niggle.
Excellent, quiet, comfortable apartment. Had a pod coffee machine, and complimentary pods and tea bags. The two small boxes of milk were also a great touch. Beds were extremely comfortable and location was fantastic! 3 min walk to main street, 10 min to harbour area, 10 min to university and bus station. Close to everything, but far enough away to avoid the party noise (it goes late, most nights!)
Blinds could be better, especially during summer!
We have just returned from a 4 night stay in the studio apartment and we would highly recommend it. The place is modern, cosy, clean and very well equipped - perfect for a short self catering stay. Everything is thought of - sugar, milk, coffee, tea, towels, shampoo etc... In a very good location for exploring Reykjavik. You are just a few minutes walk from the centre and local bus station if you want to explore further afield. Hugi emailed prior to our stay with general and useful information. The wifi has excellent coverage and the Netfix films are a great way to chill out in-between sight seeing. The shower was very powerful.
Shower room is quite small and could be improved with a blind on the front door for extra privacy
Very clean, easy to walk everywhere and very comfy bed.
A small downside was that Netflixs never worked. A big problem was the parking, we were guarenteed parking out front or for free on the street. Parking outside was hectic and we got blocked in once and there is parking on the street but it was paid parking not free as they said.
Location was great. They let us check in early which was amazing. The apartment was super cute and they even left milk in the frig for our coffee. The apartment was fully equipped, so we could of cooked if we desired. They also had a hair dryer and shampoo, which many apartment style hotels do not have. I would stay here again!
The people above us were very noisy. We would wake up in the middle of the night when they were walking around, and we are both sound sleepers. The last two days the wifi didn't work. Without wifi we couldn't contact the staff to let them know it wasn't working.
The location was awesome!
It was perfect!
Beautiful apartment, excellent location, so convenient when we arrived and left, will recommend to anyone who comes to Iceland
Shower and toilet in one room, drains need to be unblocked
Self check-in, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, Apple TV, Netflix, helpfull staff
Great location Fast Internet Modern, clean & spacious Very well equipped Not cheap but worth it
Minor issue: no bathroom on bedroom floor
TV was good, had all you would need in the kitchen dept
The shower was cramped
Easy to get to from the main bus station and very close to the main street and most attractions. The owner just left a key, there was essentials in the cupboard like sugar, tea and coffee and there is a coffee machine. I absolutely loved one of the frying pans - the cooking facilities were great. Lovely dining table for two. A perfect studio flat for couples or a single person. It was very warm, clean and comfortable. WiFi worked perfectly, plenty of power points. Clean towels and bedding. There's also a strange side room that my boyfriend was fond of. It had a concrete floor and a lamp. There's lots of lovely animals on the street, we met a lovely dog a few sweet cats.
The bed was like an inferno! We never looked into why the bed was so hot but ye gods, it was warm. The shower leaks out to the floor outside so we messed up one of the towels cleaning up. Apparently the TV didn't work but I didn't have a look. I wasn't fussed.
this was a really lovely apartment in a really good location. we staid here for the first 5 nights of our honeymoon. it is a very short walk to the main street but far enough away that it is very quiet and private at night. It is located just behind the hotel holt so we used Reykjavik excursions fly bus and got dropped at the hotel. we also used the hotel to book other excursions and as a pick up point. they were really helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was modern and looked recently renovated. There was an apple tv with access to Netflix included in the apartment cost and free wifi which was handy. we would stay here again if we returned to Iceland. we phoned to see if we could check out a little later so we could do a morning tour and Hegi was very accommodating
the bed wasn't the most comfy I have slept in. for most of our stay the above apartment was vacant but on the last night when guest arrived it was quite noisy- we went out and it had all settled by the time we returned but could have been annoying if yu stayed in more. it was a bit awkward watching tv from the sofa but this didn't bother us as we only really had it on news in the morning. we found all of these to be minor points and would happily stay here again
