Great Location and good interiors too
it's located in the center of city Rey, you can walk to all local attractions, very convenient.
Bed is too soft.
Location was right in the city centre with lots of options for restaurants and bars.
Lack of laundry facilities meant we had to haul our washing to the laundromat. Also the apartment was a bit noisy, especially the noise from the restaurant next door, although much of this had to do with inconsiderate noisy people.
We stayed in an apartment k one bedroom flat, with two small kids sharing the sofa bed in the living room. Excellent location. The apartment was light and spacious. The staff were really friendly. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to Reykjavik in the future.
As the apartment is in such a central location, the street cleaners could be a bit noisy early in the morning.
Shower curtain and towels were stained.
Door entry system (when you first arrive). Takes far too long to open.
Great location! Close to everything. Staff very helpful. Secure and safe. Very clean. Bed was very comfortable.
great kitchen and livingroom area. good location near downtown main street, fully stocked kitchen, friendly staff, clean place, modern design, luggage storage and free wifi
If you sleep well next to house shaking bass music than you've picked the right place. The shower looked awesome but then when stepping into it none of the controls worked. The bed had no sheet, just a comforter and a mattress cover.
Street party noise, ridiculous washroom, clean every 4 days, worn furniture. Grossly over priced.
Very helpful and friendly staff Very functional apartment Awesome Location
Our apartment did not look like the pictures. We didn't get all of the high design concepts that were displayed.
Location and Staff. both were excellent
We did not get the room we paid for the second time we stayed. The first time we complained and got more than what we paid for, but the second night (not consecutive) the room did not even have a dining table. We paid for a deluxe one bedroom and got a lot less.
Location An apartment style
No light due to location in the ground or underground floor Check in was very slow
Excellent location and facilities
The space, the tub with lots of towels, the comfy beds
The design The staff The location
The price The glassdoor to a toilet The bad madras in the bed
location in city centre friendly, helpful staff very good wifi there was even an apple mac comfortable bed clean
funny smell from shower check in not until 3pm
Good, easy if noisy location. Well equipped kitchen, good dishwasher. Good tv/ cable/ computer set up.
I paid for a 'deluxe studio' and got a 'studio'. The customer should get what they pay for. When a booking is for 7 nights bad that apparently you cannot be told at which of the 3 locations your apartment is until you arrive. Trade off between good location and noise from street - but more importantly internal insulation desperately needed/ at least some decent rugs, on the floor of the apartment above - this would have saved two ruined nights.
Really nicely located, had a little courtyard surrounding it.
Could really have used a table and some chairs, even little foldable ones.
No reception when we arrived. Had to wait 30 minutes to get room. Extremely difficult to find. Limited parking. Very dark with low low low lighting inside. Literally could not see areas of the apartment.
the location is excellent as it is in the central of the Reykjavik and very near to the visitor center and iceland excursions office. the apartment is spacious and the bed and bathroom are fine.
Maybe July is a busy time for staff there, after we difficultly found the apartment entrance, there were no staff there. We had to stay in a narrow passage with big luggage and wait for the staff. And our three same type rooms were allocated in different floors. This also made us depressed.
De luxe ROom = small room
We got an upgraded apartment because there was a mix up on their end - it was a great apartment with a nice location right by the church. Nice interior design and very clean. Good value for the money.
The staff was very nice, but they weren't in the office when we got into town (around 8:30am). We had to go to all three of their locations throughout the city in order to actually get into our apartment, and this back and forth wasted time and we had to take our luggage all around. If we hadn't had a car we would have had to cart around our luggage for 4 hours. In hindsight we should have just booked a hotel.
Great location! Awesome facilities. We had a small kitchen with laundry machine.
The apartment is quite small. Wi-fi didn't work AT ALL in our room (corner room).
The location by the main street was nice. It was good to have a kitchen (although ours came with 3 pots and no frying pans; a bottle of whole peppercorns, but no peppermill). Buying food for breakfast and lunch definitely kept costs down (which can be outrageous in Reykjavik). Good internet, huge TV (which I'd have liked more if I was there on business; but I watched only an hour one night since I was here on Tourism).
The pictures on this site are for the largest rooms. Our 1-bedroom spot was much different. It had a bed and an Ikea futon and "slept three". (If you have ever slept on an Ikea futon, you know what my complaint is.) No doors - just one giant room and no privacy. (I was travelling with my sister and brother in law). The quality of your stay will depend highly on the other guests, as the walls are quite thin and sound travels. At night, the place was full of noisy drunks; in the morning, small noisy children up at dawn. I slept very little on this trip. The location near to the main street had negatives: Icelanders apparently party like the largest frat house in the world from midnight to 5 AM. There are also no curtains. Maybe that's a cultural thing, but when you're trying to sleep in a place where the sun never goes down... anyway. The bathroom door didn't slide shut all the way, so anyone in the "bedroom" can see you in the shower. I don't think it's possible to turn off the heat, and if you're an american, you will not know how to work the appliances.
