The apartment was really nice: small bedrooms but a decent living room to make up for it. Nice little kitchen with just enough equipment to make a very basic dinner. It is also very central, and when I say central I really mean central: it's so central that you live on top of the nightlife. That might be awesome for some, and not so awesome for others.
Overall, I might recommend this place, but then you need to make ABSOLUTELY SURE that there will be no music stage below your room the days you booked or you might as well save your money and roam the streets all night long because I can guarantee that you won't sleep anyway.
The outside of the building looks totally run down, but luckily the inside isn't so bad. There are huge windows with single glazing, and lots of dirt and condensation so you can't really see outside. Except for a tiny little window, you can't open the windows to air out the room.
Unfortunately - I might have rated this place much higher otherwise - we had a music stage RIGHT below our room, which made it impossible to sleep or relax in the room during the day. For the three nights we stayed I can't have slept more than eight hours in total and we fled the room at all cost in the day. There was loud base vibrating the room until four in the morning, and drunk people shouting below until six! This clearly wasn't a one time thing either, since there were complementary ear plugs on the bedside tables...
