Bed and Breakfast Keflavik Centrum  

Good location as it's close to the airport, so ii's handy for early/late departures/arrivals. And the owner would pick you up/drop you off.

The breakfast was a bit poor in terms of quality and diversity. Our bedroom and the shared bathroom seemed to be quite old and it might need some refurbishment.

The best thing about this hotel is that they offer free pick up from the airport. They are well located with close by options for dinner/lunch, market etc. And about 15 mins away from the maybe only attraction in the city which is the harbour (nice btw). We arrived at International airport an stayed in Keflavik to do the Blue Lagoon the next Day from there as it's closer to than from Reykavik. Fly bus that takes you to the Blue Lagoon wont pick you up at this guesthouse, but there is a hotel near by about 5 minutes walk that you can arrange the pick up from there. The room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast simple but ok. The owner was helpful and friendly.

the room we stayed in had strange bed arrangement, one high 1,5 bed and one low single bed, the furniture had its best time ago, but all was clean

The person responsible of the house was super helpful! He drove us to the airport and waited for us really late!

Lovely host. Very eager to please. Asked for a quiet room and he couldn't do more for us. Choice of rooms and made sure we picked a quiet one. Drove us to the airport at 7am. Welcoming and asked what we were up to - interested. Loads of hot water for shower. Cooked a meal for ourselves on this last night before leaving Iceland - cheap and cheerful stay but we enjoyed it very much.

The B&B is located close to the airport which makes it a great place to stay for the first or last night. The owner offers a free shuttle from or to the airport. The breakfast included in the price is ok, you have to take it out of the fridge in the kitchen. The shared bathroom facilities can become quite crowded, since there is only 2 bathrooms an one shower for everybody. The owner, which lives right next door, is very nice and helpful and great in suggesting places to visit.

The location is good in Keflavik. Walking distance to to stores and restaurants. Parking is easy in the street. The owner was very helpful and did not spare effort to accomodate our needs.

Lot of people chose this place for the proimity to the airport. The doors handles and locks are pretty loud so it can get a bit noisy late at night or early in the morning.

Very friendly, we arrived in the middle of the night and got a nice and warm welcome.

It was affordable, and very close to the Keflavik airport- perfect for staying the night during a quick layover!

This place looks like ussr 1970 but I will still rekommend it especially if you arrive late from the airport. The place is clean and the owner is very serviceminded. He picked is up at the airport att one o'clock att night

The guy is extremely helpful. He drove us to and from the airport, and received us really late at night. He also showed us around the place and pointed us to a really good restaurant, and stuff to do in town. The beds were very comfortable and rooms and bathroom were clean. The breakfast is a "help yourself" from the fridge with food he provides. Very quiet area, it felt like the typical place where Icelandic people live.

The bathroom, although clean, probably needs renovation.

Useful for short layover in Iceland since it is right by the airport and you don't have to pay big bucks to go into town. The place is someone's house, and he is willing to pick you up and drop you at the airport for free if you ask him. Room is okay/comfortable, and he provides kitchen and some basic breakfast foods. Shared bath, but is decent. (Only one other guest room, so not crowded.) There are probably a bunch of these in Keflavik because they won't let you hang around in the airport overnight! He speaks decent English and is helpful. Nice town to walk around in for a bit in the morning before heading to airport.

Pretty basic accommodations, but works if you jut need a place to crash on a layover. Not really cheap (nothing is in Iceland) so there may be better options in town. Still, worked fine, and he did meet us at 2 in the morning and took us straight to the house.

It was what we needed, a bed and a shower for a long layover in Iceland. My family and I wanted to say we went to Iceland, so we purposely picked a flight with a long layover. Iceland is beautiful, all the ruggedness of Hawaii's big island, but with New England temperatures. The bed an breakfast was for somewhere to crash when we couldn't stay up anymore (24 hrs. Daylight). The staff was very friendly and helpful. And, it was located 10 minutes from the airport, very helpful.

I thought I would be okay with sharing a bathroom, we do it all the time when we camp. But, it was really tiny and the place had the feel of camping. Which would be no problem, but I wasn't really in the camping mood, this was the last stop on our two week crazy european tour. For a budget worn thin by europe, this place was fine. But, being as tired as we were, I should have spent the extra for a private bathroom somewhere else. This is not a fault of the bed and breakfast, only my own pickiness and age.

He picked us up at the airport, which was very kind of him & a nice welcome when arriving to a new country. He was most helpful and caring, a real gentleman. Very polite indeed.

The shower was hard to work propperly.

We stayed one night. Owner was very friendly and helpfull in arranging rent-a-car. In kitchen good choice for breakfast.

The B&B Keflavik is located near the airport. The rooms are ok - Accepts payment in euro. Calm area, easy to park the car (in front of the door). Ideal for an overnight stay in case you arrive late at Keflavik airport, or when you have to leave early.

The B&B is actually located in a house next to the one in which the owner lives. It was not very well indicated where exactly you have to ring the bell... The breakfast is a "self-help"-one. (ham, cheese, etc is in the fridge, and you just take what you like - and help yourself.

Perfect! Very welcoming and we had a goodnight sleep before an early flight + very helpful airport transfer!

Visto che siamo arrivati molto tardi, il proprietario molto gentilmente, il giorno successivo ci ha riportati in aereoporto per ritirare la macchina noleggiata.

Proximité avec aéroport (comptez 3 km environ). Gérant très disponible : il vient vous chercher à l'aéroport si vous arrivez très tard, paie le taxi, vous emmène le lendemain à la société de location et vous attend pour vous montrer le chemin afin d'aller récupérer amis et valises à l'hôtel. Confort sommaire, certes, mais suffisant pour une nuit avant d'aller visiter le pays.
