Hotel Berg    

Among the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. The hotel is very well-designed, clean and comfortable. It is minutes from Keflavik Airport and 40 minutes from Reykjavik.

This is a very nice new small hotel which the owners have put a lot of love into designing and making guests feel at home, even if they are having a shortstay before a flight out. They drive people to and from airport, have breakfast from 4 am, lovely lounge with view over the marina, much nicer than staying at the actual airpot hotel.

I'm not sure that I can define the sort of this hotel, bit I am sure, after nearly a month of travel in iceland, that this was the best place we stayed in, and we loved any moment there,

The price is rather high. Not for budget travellers.

What do our customers need? ..... it will be arranged ! Excellent for Reykjavik airport, early breakfast and transport to airport.

The hotel is an excellent choice, as it is very close to the airport, and the staff caters to early morning flights by supplying a fabulous breakfast available from 4:00am on. Very comfortable and spacious rooms, nicely appointed. excellent wifi and tv options are great

We loved this hotel! The owners are delightful and so helpful, the rooms are lovely and spacious, the lounge is comfortable and filled with books, the view over the small harbor is lovely, the location is great for a visit to the Blue Lagoon and quite convenient to other attractions yet in a quiet setting away from Rejkavik. The hotel arranged a car rental delivered and picked up there for us. Highly recommend!

Everything about it was excellent!

There was nothing that we did not like.

Near KEF Convenient Extremely useful staff who handle everything to make sure that you get to the airport on time; even went on line an printed our boarding passes. Breakfast is ready even if you have to be at the airport at 5 in the morning.

Our favorite small hotel in Iceland. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and very tasty. Great place for your first and last day in Iceland.

Great location; close to airport (especially after a long flight). Staff was super friendly and willing to pick me up at the airport AND the bus station the next day! Pretty location and great rooms.

Location for the airport,about 5minutes drive, the they will also provide a transfer setvice and early breakfast facilities means you don't have to miss out to catch the early flight.

This hotel is amazing. The attention to detail is everywhere. From the clasp that keep the door from slamming, to the sleek design of the room. Couldn't have been more pleased with how well the room and hotel were. If visiting the area, a must stay location.

Good location by the harbour. Clearly ran with some passion and enthusiasm with some nice touches in the public areas. Handy for the airport with free transfers and with breakfast from 4am for early departures

Strayed 5 nights and toured Iceland on long day trips. (18 hours of daylight) The location was perfect and this is a well run family business with a great breakfast in the morning to start your day. The room we had overlooking the small fishing harbor and the quietness to sleep was awesome. The staff was always willing to accommodate and the free airport pickup and return which takes less than 10 minutes at any hour is great. Hotel Berg even made car arrangements for us and the car was delivered and picked up at the hotel. Sure you have a 40 minute drive to Reykjavik from Keflavik but it is well worth the drive for many sites including the Blue Lagoon are close by. Will stay here again on our next layover.

We liked everything about the Hotel Berg. It is a beautiful boutique hotel close to the airport (shuttle service ) and in a lovely harbour setting.It was very quiet and peaceful. A clean comfortable bed, sitting area and a lovely breakfast was provided too. We would certainly recommend this Hotel to our Family and friends and are considering a trip to Iceland perhaps next year!

Only 10 minutes from the airport in a coastal village setting. There was a good restaurant close to the hotel, a buffet breakfast beginning at 4.00am and transfers to the airport. The focus is to provide a good service for people coming in and out of the country and they do it very well.
