The staff were awesome, spoke fantastic English. The hotel looks like a log cabin from the outside. Good breakfast in the morning. One must check in by 6pm. Unfortunately the weather influences driving so if there's snow, 6pm is hard to make.

The room was very comfortable and clean, breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly. We were expecting use of the sauna, but that was shut down for the winter. It would have been nice to know that before we arrived.

The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable, the hotel is easy to reach from route 1. What we did not like at all is that the rooms don't face the seafront which is a pity as the town is a seaport. So when you are in the room, it could be just anywhere. Rather select Hotel Margaret if you want to have excellent views of the fjord . . .

Very welcoming staff. Excellent food, both dinner and breakfast and in Icelandic terms good value. There is an comfortable lounge equipped with internet access, TV and mini library. Rooms are reasonably well equipped. The setting is dramatic. Good value too. The hotel is off the beaten track for tourists but provided you don't mind the isolation it is worth visiting.

The hotel itself is very beautiful but the rooms are a bit spartan. Dining room closes at 9 so there was no place for us to get diinner. There was a small cafe across the road that was still open but only to serve cold items as its kitchen was closed as well.

Hotel fantastico, in legno, molto confortevole. La nostra camera (tripla) era molto grande, calda e silenziosa. Internet wi-fi e parcheggio gratuito. Unico neo: la colazione un po' scarsa.

La chambre familiale pour 4 était très confortable et chaleureuse, avec ses murs en bois et sa petite entrée où l'on peut déposer ses vestes et ses chaussures. Salle de bains tout en bois également, y compris le sol. Les meubles sont plus recherchés que dans la plupart des hôtels où nous avons séjournéen Islande. La présence d'un sauna est un plus agréable. Le petit-déjeuner est correct. L'hôtel dispose d'une salle commune avec cheminée et canapés très agréable (tv, dvd et jeux de société à disposition). Emplacement agréable avec vue sur le fjord. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Rien. Tout était parfait.
