nice city, wonderful sightseeing
Very modern yet warm and cozy arrangement. Our room had view on the sea. Very nice breakfast.
Everything was pleasant and quiet. The breakfast was very good. We were also lucky and saw the Northern Lights the night we were there.
The proprietor had no record of our reservation through booking.com, so we paid more than we expected to.
peaceful location beautiful scenery access to saga museum and settlement museum excellent breakfast wonderfully hot shower beautiful renovation of kitchen and bathroom
Very nice and authentic atmosphere.Nice, but very small double room with the private bathroom. The bathroom itself big and equipped with a big mirror and hair dryer.Good breakfast
Very small room only with one chair. Very weak WiFi signal
Our room was modern and had a nice view over the water. The B&B is a mixture of modern in the bedrooms and traditional in the dining area. Breakfast was good. We self-catered and used the microwave.
Too many people to share the bathroom. Unfortunately, like many places in Iceland, the toilet is in the bathroom, not separate. There are 3 parking spots in the B&B grounds and latecomers park in the street.
Bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast was readily available and with multiple options. Bathroom looks to be recently updated.
Wifi did not work at all in room nor did tv. It was advertised on booking.com that wifi was available everywhere and was not.
We didn't know quite what to expect but were given a warm and friendly welcome. We had a large, spotlessly clean room with a very well appointed shared bathroom across the hall. The self service breakfast was excellent. Tea making and kitchen facilities available. Both bedroom and dining room had lovely sea views. Definitely good value for money.
It's nice, clean and calm. We arrived later than the standard check-in time but the it was no problem, they waited for us.
Wi-fi signal was not strong enough. It would be a good idea to have a mop in a bathroom.
Easy to find, early check in, nice room good bathroom, great kitchen and tea making facilities. Good location for a stroll around the harbour.
Could not get the wi-fi to connect
Breakfast was really good, the best that we had in Iceland during our road trip visit. Bathrobes provided which was very handy considering it was shared bathroom accommodation. The view from the bedroom of the sea and landscape was nice.
Nothing to report.
room, breakfast, owner
Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were clean and nice. Bathroom was very nice and newly renovated. Breakfast was good.
Shared bathroom. It got a little crowded with about 4 rooms per bathroom.
Beautiful old house Excwllwnt kitchen available for guests to use Delicious breakfast Comfortable stay Close to the Settlement Museum (worth a visit)
WiFi was temperamental
Borgarnes is a lovely small town. Breakfast was excellent Friendly staff Well equipped flat.
Lovely location, family run B&B, yummy pancakes
price on Booking.com was different from what has been paid on site
Very comfortable beds Nice large bathrooms Wonderful breakfast Great view Very nice people
The owner is a woman with a lot of taste. Very good breakfast in a very nice room with spledid views of the bay
The wi-fi did not arrive to our room but we could connect in the breakfast-living room
We were at the end of our trip and needed to repack some things. Our room was very large, which made life easier. Room looked out onto the water and was very quiet.
good breakfest, beautiful view from living room, nice and clean room
When the owner found out that we were not happy with our stay at the replacement b&b, she immediately reduced the charge for the night by an amount that I thought was quite fair. Those unpleasant memories were further erased by the delicious breakfast that she served - lots of food choices including a variety of fresh bread.
Arrived at the guesthouse and found that it was overbooked. We ended up staying at another b&b that the owner arranged for us (breakfast next morning would still be at the original place). The accommodations at the second place was far from satisfactory.
Very rich breakfast, with quality products. Better than in many more extensive hotels ! Very good french spoken !
Great location with beautiful views of the water. Hosts were very welcoming and hospitable.
Only one combined bathroom toilet upstairs.
This was an altogether lovely place to stay. The people who own it are charming and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our room was large with a bay window looking over the sea, a sofa and table and chairs. We were told we could use the kitchen if we wanted. The whole house is beautiful with very attractive decor and we felt very comfortable there. Would highly recommend.
Nothing to dislike.
