Enjoy complimentary entrance to the swimming pool, hot bathtubs, water slides and local museums, at Hotel Capitano in Neskaupstaður, the oldest part of Iceland.

Neskaupstaður entices visitors with its remarkable mountain scenery. The area’s geology is unique and guests can visit 3 different museums displaying stone specimens retrieved from the local mountains.

Nearby Oddskarð, in Iceland often referred to as the Alps of the East, is an excellent skiing area. There is snow on the mountains all year around and even a local glacier, Fönn, in Norðfjörður.

The cozy Hotel Capitano offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms in a house by the sea, all with TVs. Capitano also has a famous Thai restaurant, the only one in eastern Iceland.

Anonymous Mature couple Switzerland July 19, 2011	Hotel wirbt mit Kunst, entspricht aber in keiner Weise der Eigenwerbung. Beim Empfang war "anscheinend" Buchung nicht vorhanden; wir wurden in ein nicht-akzeptables anderes Hotel gebracht (Baustelle, schmutzige Zimmer, winziges Zimmer, schlechte Ausstattung).
