The location

Dvd player turned up on the last night.

We didn't arrive until 2:00am and all we had to do was ring the doorbell and be buzzed in. Our key and welcome package was right there on the table and we were all set for the rest of our stay. Overall our experience was perfect at Castle House. It's in a great location directly across from the lake and a very, very short walk to city center where all the action is. It was clean, cozy, and fun. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a little strange not having a lobby or actually seeing someone for check-in and check-out but it was no big deal.

Fabulous location, beautiful clean apartment, it was wonderful! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, delightful people who were cooperative and most gracious. It is an easy walk to everything, two supermarkets are near by, so shopping was fun and cooking was a snap in this well appointed apartment. They even provided tea light candles and champagne flutes! I had to leave the apartment at 5am for an early flight to Germany, the Staff arranged everything for me, even waking me up at 4am! The gentleman who drove me to the airport was delightful, despite the early hour. All in all my stay here was great! Thank you Castle House!

We liked the location, close to restaurants, shopping and downtown.

We didn't like not having our towels replaced even after mentioning that we didn't want the room cleaned but wanted our towels changed. After settling in after a very busy day we didn't have a channel we could watch on Television and the volume didn't work on the set. The water was very foul smelling and we had to purchase water even to brush our teeth.

Easy walking distance to museums, shopping, dining and the harbor (for whale watching excursions). Pay parking on street is convenient and the cheapest of 3 tiers in Reykjavik. Adjacent to a pleasant residential neighborhood.

Smallish bathroom with shower-but-no-shower-stall, requiring the use of a squeegee to dry the floor.

Proximity to city center is a bonus.

Bathroom is a little cramped.

It was a clean, attractive and comfortable room. The location was perfect, on the lake and central to restaurants and shopping. The cost was very affordable. I would stay there again and recommend it to my friends.

El apartamento no esta mal, lo unico que si reservas para una pareja deberian entender que no significa que uno dormira en una cama individual y otro en el sofa... Lo malo que nos han cobrado 45 euros de más y aún estamos espera do que se dignen a contestarnos que nos lis devuelven... Reykjavik genial!!

This was a great location in Reykjavik and we loved how the apartments were appointed. Very comfortable, with all of the necessities. The staff was very friendly and helpful and communicated well over the internet.

It was difficult to get just cold water from the tap that wasn't mixed with some of the sulfurous hot water. This must be due to the plumbing? Also, it was expensive for us. Especially since the apartments were in a daylight basement location. Iceland was expensive in general, so this may be a reasonable rate for the area.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, 400 Meter bis zur Fußgängerzone der Innenstadt! Das kostenlose Wifi hat prima funktioniert und war schnell. Kurze Wege zum Busterminal.Hilfsbereite Bedienstete!! :)

Das Bad war extrem feucht und schlecht zu entlüften, kein Fenster!!! Schimmelbildung an der Duschwand. Mein Schlüssel war nicht vereinbarungsgem. Am vorgegebenen Platz, der Check in verzögerte sich dadurch unnötig, schade.
