Room and location were great. They hit me with a surprise €50 early check-in fee when I arrived even though they knew I was coming early and never said anything about this unpublished fee. They lowered it to €25 after I complained, but I will never stay at any of the Iceland CenterHotels after such a shady trick. Be warned!

It was a very stylish, well-designed hotel in a superb location. The attic room had some height restrictions in certain areas but it was a great room with a really comfortable bed and a fantastic bathroom.

Ideal downtown location for trips and exploring with countless places to eat nearby. Staff were exceptionally efficient and kind. Buffet breakfast was good and convenient especially if you were going on a trip out early morning. Very clean. A de luxe room was booked and was very acceptable except that we had tp report that the television wasn't working (corrected later that day) but more importantly the room safe was also broken but not repaired throughout our stay. There was the chance to leave valuables with reception.

The female, day receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were good with a variety of cereals, ham, cheese and fruit from which to choose, and the bread was wonderful! We had booked four nights (from Thursday to Sunday). Whilst centrally located, we were unaware that we were surrounded by clubs and bars, which, on Fridays and Saturdays had a drinks licence until 5am. Consequently, the noise was appalling and each night we had, at the most, about two hours sleep. Added to the fact that we went on the 'Northern Lights' tours, meant that we had very little sleep over the w/E. I came home shattered and feeling tense and ill, rather than rested and refreshed as I hoped!

Central location. Convenient off street parking. Pleasant staff. Well appointed rooms with comfortable beds As has been mentioned in at least one other review there is some noise from a nearby club/bar well into the small hours on a Saturday night.

Excellent location and care by the staff, a good breakfast, a nice bar, cute rooms. Would like to see a spa or sauna added to the hotel in next upgrade. Guests should also be advised of delays on FlyBus departures for the airport and any cancelled booked trips such as the Northern Lights. In both cases we spent more than 45 minutes inside or outdoors awaiting pickups, and in winter than can be cold.

Really excellent hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Located right in the middle of the commercial area of town, location couldn't be better for those with just a couple days to spend. Front desk staff was very helpful in helping us get around.

I have stayed at this hotel three times and whilst it doesnt offer any of the big hotel amenities such as a swimming pool the location and the ambience of the hotel make up for this. The breakfast selection is good however a little limited.

Staff was super helpful. The decor was exceptionally nice. Breakfast was really fabulous. Location was wonderful. Bathroom was extremely modern. All in all, a great hotel, especially for the price. Lighting in the room was not optimal nor was lighting in bathroom for putting on makeup.

Good design, good breakfast, helpful staff, good location. Cheap scratchy toilet paper, minimal toiletries, no restaurant or room service even though it was advertised.

Tranquil atmosphere inside, contemporary feel, helpful staff Didn't replenish teabags etc very generously. We had to move rooms after a very noisy night til 3am from people collecting at the outside door to the hotel bar, which happened to be just below our room. However staff very understanding and moved us away from street side (and upgraded us too which was nice)

Hotel location was good.We have good experience athmosfare of hotel and by original outlook of room.. It is definetly too expensive, I'd stayed in five star hotels by less money.. not ofcourse, in Island, but still.. maybe 110 € is propriate value for one night..
