Good location for restaurants and shops
Very noisy at night - desperately needs triple glazing if you want to sleep at all
Lobby and Room are very dark
The location is great
Bad value for money. Bad isolation sound and light isolation. We couldnt sleep from 1am to 4am because of the music coming from the night club not far from it. The bathroom floor was mouldy, which is unacceptable, specially with the price we were paying.
Was nice location. Nice toilet amenities. Friendly staff and very good breakfast.
We didn't enjoy the bed at all. It was put together from 2 single matrices and was super uncomfortable to sleep, so sorry we would not come back to this hotel.
The location, good breakfast, amazingly helpful staff.
Needs to provide a bathrobe.
To avoid absolutely on Friday and Saturday night because ofan incerdibible noise from the nightclub nearby and in the street until 5-6 AM And the price is much higher for these nights!!!!
1. Close to main shopping street and other things in the centre of town 2. Breakfast was reasonable
1. Close to very noisy nightclubs which don't stop until 4am. We moved after 2 nights into 1 of the 2 the basement rooms to try and get some peace and quiet. It was partly successful. Reception have earplugs available so it's a common problem! 2. Concrete walls and floors in the bedroom/bathroom might be trendy but I don't like them 3. Very expensive 4. I'd rather be further out of town and be able to sleep
Centrally located, though tricky to park nearby. Close enough to walk from bus terminus. Helpful, efficient and friendly receptionists who speak excellent English.
Television didn't work in either room we stayed in. Free entry to spa was offered as compensation, though unfortunately we didn't have time to use.
the first room we were assigned was incredibly hot with no way to turn down heat or access to an air conditioning unit. The friendly staff relocated us to a room with a more agreeable temperature.
It was incredibly noisy from people smoking outside untill about 4 am. It was hot in the room and the window coudl not be opened because of the noise.
The interior design and decoration was beautiful. The abundant use of natural wood and designer furniture and lighting was excellent. The warm bathroom floor was lovely.
Our room was a bit too ovetheated for us.
This was our favorite stay of our ten-day, five-hotel trip; the interior was beautiful, the staff incredible, and everything was extremely modern and comfortable. As a young couple, we found the hotel extremely romantic and were thrilled that we had booked it over our first year anniversary.
There was no parking nearby; while we generally don't mind walking, it was a bit excessive to the hotel.
Cool modern decor. Great breakfast selection. Helpful staff.
The noisy nightclub up the street. Could not adjust AC in room.
The location was amazing right off the main road in Reykjavik. This boutique style, sleek, and yet trendy vibe was great. The rooms were small but appropriate and housekeeping was really helpful when we had a small issue with our lights. The food was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Maggie and Clara at reception were excellent
My only concern was the curtains did not cover the window wall to wall, so with the light being almost 24hrs, it was difficult to sleep sometimes.
We had been to this hotel before and like almost everything about it - friendly staff, very high quality facilities and excellent access to the town centre. Please read our negative comments with this in mind.
Our sleep was spoilt not so much by the noisy revellers outside - they are a fact of life in central Reykjavík - as by the fact that the room was unnecessarily heated so we couldn't close the windows to keep the noise out. We pointed this out to reception staff and they are looking into it. Also technical problems with both wi-fi and TV.
Breakfast very good.
Hotel located in a noisy area. A bar with loud music is next door. People were talking and screaming at 3am in the morning!
My third stay here. Relaxed atmosphere, funky furniture, lovely staff, happy hour and fab breakfast. Room 407 was wonderful high up. Staff organised out trips without fuss, everything was like clock work again.
We were happy but our friends in two other first floor rooms had very disruptive nights with street noise.
Very pleasant stay. A good choice for breakfast
Excellent staff, great beds and location.
A bit noisy on the street since it is right in the center of the city
Very friendly staff. Excellent location. Very clean.
Can't find anything to blame
Hotel very clean and unique in style. Perfect location for exploring Reykjavik and for eating out in the evening. On the whole, a nice hotel and I would stay there again.
If you are staying over on a Saturday evening, there is a very busy bar just across the from the hotel which stayed open until around 5am and played loud music all night.
No room service, unclean rooms, beds really hard and requested extra pillows none received. Not at all what you would expect from this kind of hotel. no movie channels, soap not replaced and we stayed 10 days in a suite. Very noisy at night, next to bars.
The central location is perfect although parking a little tricky due to narrow streets. Breakfast very good. Rooms comfortable and modern.
The noise from the club across the road.
Location was very central. Staff very efficient and friendly. Rooms were very clean and facilities good.
Having to pay extra for the use of the spa. Badly designed windows in bedroom!
