It was said on the reception desk that the restaurant would open till 22:00 pm. But when I arrived 21:00, the staff told me the kitchen was closed!

Good location. Nice and warm room. Minor problems with bed sheets (only one pillow for two) were solved quickly.

Hotel had good quality price ratio.

Spacious rooms, localization next to road no1 and possibility to have late check-in (we arrived at hotel door steps around 11pm as we were hiking in Skaftafell during that day).

Bear in mind that there are no kitchen facilities. You can order a breakfast at reception or have a dinner as long as you come earlier.

Free parking, 5 min from Hofn by car

Spacious lounge area. Very good views of nearby glaciers and mountains from hotel.

Lighting in room was poor. Nowhere to hang towels in room - communal showers. Would have been good to have internet access in rooms instead of having to go to lounge area.

Good location close to Hofn. The rooms were comfortable but a bit spartan.

Shared bathrooms and showers. Nothing wrong with them, they are clean and in good condition but it's a bit of an inconvenience to have to leave your room for a shower. In the morning there may be a queue so it's better to have a shower at night.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel after reading the reviews. I am very picky when it comes to hotels and was very nervous about booking two nights in a budget chain hotel. That said, while it is very simple, it was also very clean and perfect for us given we were there to spend our time exploring the outdoors not in the hotel. Rooms were good. Breakfast was good. Wireless in the lobby area. Overall I was very pleased.

The walls are thin and the doors are loud, but with ear plugs it was not an issue

Very nice situation. Clean and confortable. Very good dinner at a reasonable price served in the restaurant with windows on a fine landscape outside.

the room was fit for a monk......... no t.v.,no telephone,not even one chair in the room. no elevator,not wi fi. highly overpriced for what they offer.

Close to Hofn (Lobster Town). Clean rooms.

WiFi only available in common area. Shared bathrooms were pretty YMCAish.

Es un hotel barato en comparación con otros alojamientos de la zona y tiene todos los servicios necesarios para pasar una buena estancia.
