Nice landscape, comfortable room and facilities, tasty food. Convenient location for activities in Husavik - Myvatn - Akureyri region. The location of the hotel (~50 km from Husavik) was not clearly given, so it was difficult to find at the first time. |

Rooms are very spacious. They have a pool and hot tub. They have a playground for kids. Great for families. Free internet. Rooms are dorm rooms and very utilitarian. We did not sleep well because there was no noise dampening by the walls. We could hear everyone that walked by our room and they spoke loudly. The lobby/lounge was nearby and we could hear anyone who was at the computer checking their email. The dining room was next to our room as well and we could hear the staff cleaning up after dinner well into the night. |

Very good food. The wait for the food (see above) was way too long. The hotel is not close to Husavik in any way. 50km is far beyond "close to" in my vocabulary. |

Im Vergleich mit anderen Hotels in Island ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis im Hotel Edda wirklich sehr gut. Das Gebäude ist eigentlich ein Internat, in dem im Sommer Touristen untergebracht werden - dementsprechend darf man natürlich keine Luxus-Einrichtung erwarten. Die Zimmer waren aber mit allem ausgestattet, was man brauchte und die Gemeinschaftssanitäranlagen in Ordnung. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und an der Rezeption gab es einen kleinen Shop, wo man Getränke, Snacks etc. kaufen konnte. Eine wirklich empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, wenn man bei der Reiseplanung etwas aufs Geld achten muß... Das Wasser hatte einen stark schwefeligen Geruch, was aber normal ist in Island und in vielen Hotels (auch in teuren) in Kauf genommen werden muß. |

Gute Küche! Die Entfernung nach Husavik von 50 km war aus der Beschreibung des Hotels eindeutig nicht zu ersehen. Ich bitte dringendst um eine Korrektur der Hotelbeschreibung. Ich empfand das als Zumutung. |

Endroit calme, bon restaurant, bon petir déjeuner. Au moment de réservation, l'hôtel était signalé centre-ville Husavik, jolie ville portuaire. Après des recherches infructueuses d'une grosse heure et interpellation d'une patrouille de police à Husavik, avons appris que l'hôtel se trouvait à +/- 50 km de cette ville, à des dizaines de km de la mer. Juste au milieu de rien du tout! Entre-temps, la situation géographique a été réctifiée. Booking.com nous proposait chambre avec baignoire mais ne l'avons pas eu car il n'y a aucune chambre avec baignoire à cet hôtel. Détail signalé à Booking.com et en cours de réctification... |

Dobra lokalizacja dla chcących zwiedzać płn.-wsch. Islandię,część hotelu po wakacjach jest szkołą i można korzystać z sali gimnastycznej,śniadania jak za tą cenę b.dobre Woda ma zapach "zgniłych jaj" i to bardzo intensywny ale w tym rejonie to normalne,bardzo daleko do jakichkolwiek sklepów i rozrywek,typowa noclegownia nie polecany dla ludzi lubiących spędzać czas w hotelu |

Niente, indicano come indirizzo Husavik ma si trova a 50 km dal paese che si chiama Storutjarnir, è un paese fantasma ci son 4 case disabitatae e questo Hotel che in realtà è una scuola adibita ad hotel, con banchi come comodini, sedie di plastica o ferro, senza luce. Tutto, l'hotel non è un hotel, è una scuola, il servizio non esiste, in camera non avevo nè luce nè televisione,è sperduto nel nulla e non vi sono alternative che restare là. |

Prachtig uitzicht. Rustige ligging, gemakkelijk bereikbaar. Voldoende gemeenschappelijk sanitair. Ligt dicht bij de Goðafoss. Prima keuken. Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Hotel ligt helemaal niet in Husavík, maar ergens midden op weg naar Akureyri (55 km van Husavík, 45 km van Akureyri). Water uit de douche bevat veel zwavel en laat zilveren juwelen oxideren. Geen draadloos internet beschikbaar. |

Este hotel se anuncia como si estuviera en Husavik, y está a 55 km, por lo que todo el mundo se equivoca y se va a hasta Husavik, en la oficina de turismo nos dijeron que ese mismo día ya le había pasado a varias personas |
