The staff was pretty friendly and the service was great. I stood there for one night watched the Nothern lights in the night. I felt "home" within one night!!

The staff from the guesthouse were extremly kind and nice. They give us all the posible information we needed, weather forecast ( we went in November), road conditions, what to do in the city.... The hotel is very clean and comfortable although the room was a bit small. The bathroom was clean and big enough, and despite being a shared one, as we were the only guests in the hotel, that wasn't a problem. The breakfast was quite good. The location of the hotel is 9 km from the town center and as is quite isolated and without light contamination we saw an awesome nothern light. If you go to Eyjólfsstadir in winter, this guesthouse is the best option. The room was maybe a bit small

The breakfast was really good and the common areas were comfortable and good for relaxing. We had tried to get into a more full-service hotel as we prefer a place to stay with a little more room and private bath facilities but the only true hotel was full. There was only one other room in use at the guesthouse when we were there so everything worked out fine but I can't imagine the pressure on the bathrooms and showers with this guesthouse full in the summer months.

The staff was very kindly, when we arrived we were offered a cup of tea/coffee. A big quiet surrounded the guesthouse, we slept very well. Cleanliess at first place, we should walk without shoes, but the parquet made it easier.

It was a very pleasant stay. The guesthouse was very inviting..very relaxing in the country atmosphere. The views were breathtaking. The staff very accomadating. The rooms very clean. Thought the sink in the room was a plus..

This staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little odd as I am married and we slept in separate twins beds. The wi-fi was strong (which is a huge plus for me). The place was quiet and we did get a good night's sleep.

Availability in an area where reasonably cost hotels are sparse ( and sparse in general). HOWEVER THE DISTANCE I ASKED WHEN SEARCHING WAS NOT CORRECT : WE HAD TO TRAVEL IN STEAD OF 70 KM EAST 215 KM LATE AT NIGHT! Simple but correct breaksfast buffet, but fruit not very good (Keep in mind I stayed there only one night and it was after a long festivity weekend).

Sehr netter Gastgeber, der sich Zeit für den Gast nimmt, das Zimmer persönlich zu zeigen und Fragen zu klären. Alles ganz neu renoviert, sehr schön und sehr sauber. Gute Lage an der Straße 1 in ruhiger Natur. Genügend Toiletten und Duschen vorhanden. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet, Dining- Room mit schöner Aussicht.
