Clean, enough room, good breakfast, nice view.

Lovely and peaceful - a nice way for us to refresh and recollect ourselves in the middle of our trip around the Ring Road. There were not too many other guests staying there, and bathrooms were not an issue for us. An underrated guesthouse and a lovely surprise, I think!

The staff were very helpful and nice. The breakfast was quality, and the bread was homemade.

The quality of the house. The communal parts are clean (and you have to take off your shoes inside). Wifi is accessible every where. Tea and coffee offered at your arrival. Near to Hengifoss (Iceland top10 waterfall)

I am guessing the gentleman that greeted us was the owner? If so, he should bring someone else in to manage property. He was not the warm and friendly kind of person you would expect.Very little conversation exchanged. The breakfast room was nice with good offerings. Maybe some backround music to cut the stark silence? Property was clean, but also felt sterile and cold. Maybe he was not wanting to be there at that time???

Very good value. Comfortable and clean. A good place to meet other travellers with communal areas to sit, chat, play games. It had a bit of a hostel feel. The host was reserved but very helpful. Would stay there again.

We had the room with the emergency exit and the light was on all night - not good if you need a dark room to sleep. Evening meal available by prior arrangement, other places to eat are 10km away.

Very friendly owner, very comfortable and very affordable accomodation. Great Icelandic hospitality + the location close to the lake in East Iceland is perfect to travel in all directions, both to the fjords and to the highlands around Mount Snaefell

Only one toilet for so many people, and 2 showers, are too few. We had to make queue for go in the bathroom! In a hostel there are better facilities. Parking lot rough and too little. No kitchen or laundry so you have to go to the near city (10 minute by car ) for everything. I will not return

We spent 1 night at this hotel on our way through the Eastern Coast. Very convenient location near Ring Road. Great view on the downhill lake from our room. The room itself was clean and nice looking. The breakfast was quite basic, but good value for the money anyway. WiFi connection at the good speed in our room.

Lovely environment, nice and clean, newley renovated. The nature is stunning. And a very good homemade breakfast.

The guesthouse is located in a wonderful and silent place, near the major tourist attractions. Even if they had shared bathroom they had many and clean bathrooms. The staff was very nice.

Very friendly welcome and the use of the restaurant area during the day. Always fresh coffee and tea and no problem to eat your own brought meal there.
