Located in small town in the centre of south west Iceland - easy drive north to Gullfoss, glaciers and Fludir, south to volcanoes and west to Rekjavik. Peasant design, comfortable,. Good breakfasts, good evening meals, Obviously a local meeting place. Some staff were friendly and helpful but this wasn't the overall Reasonably priced. Clean and well kept. Reception hidden behind bar, not welcoming on arrival. No feeling of welcome, no facilities to make drinks in room, no wifi or Internet access, little useful advice for tourists. Double bed was two twins put together.

Can't recommend staff enough. Made an error on my booking online and when I turned up on a different day to the booking, the manager moved the booking with no extra charges, even though the booked day had already passed. Dinner superb, with large windows to watch spectacular Icelandic sunsets.

As a overnight-stop on our trip throu Iceland it is absolutely o.k. Staff was a little "reserved", especially the breakfast crew hardly opened their mouth. The dinner crew was more talkative ... Maybe the Icelandic Way :-))

the reception person is nice, the entrance of hotel is beautiful. hot tube in the graden. The breakfast is expensive if we campare another hotel in iceland, but we don't have choise.By the way, the dinner is expensive, too,but it is very good.

Es war doch recht gut. Sehr nettes Design, auch der Aussenanlagen. Trotz dass eine große Tagung zu gleichen Zeit im Hotel weilte, haben sich die Angestllten auch um uns gekümmert. Guter Standard; Dinner und Frühstück sind ok. Preis-/Leistung ist zu teuer.

Bel hôtel bien situé et composé d'une succession de chambres type "petits chalets de plein pied accolés" avec petite terrasse privée. Excellente restauration et copieux buffet de petit déjeuner.

Sehr sauberes Hotel in guter Lage zu allen 'Golden Circle' Sehenswürdigkeiten, aber auch guter Standpunkt für Fahrten Richtung Hochland & Südosten, Hekla, Landmannalaugar etc.Hotel ist sehr nett angelegt; Zimmer besitzen entweder Ausgang zu kleiner Terasse oder zum Innenhof mit Hot Tub. Frühstücksbuffet ausreichend, Abendessen (wie überall) teuer aber sehr gut. WLAN gratis.

Sehr schöne Lage. Ansprechende Architektur und Ausstattung. Personal (bis auf Geschäftsführer) den Gästen gegenüber verschlossen. Sauberkeit in Bad und Zimmer verbesserungswürdig.

la particolare struttura dell'hotel, la disponibilità delle vasche calde all'aperto alle quali si accede direttamente dalla camera; abbiamo anche cenato (circa 25 euro per il menù del giorno): cucina internazionale, non particolarmente tipica.

Hoewel de menukaart niet uitgebreid was, hebben we allemaal heerlijk gegeten. We waren met zijn vieren en we hadden allemaal wat anders besteld. Alle ingredienten kwamen uit de omgeving van het hotel. Personeel spreekt uitstekend Engels.

Hotel wurde wegen der Nähe zu Gullfoss und Geysir gebucht - nettes Personal, unkomplizierte Abwicklung, sehr entgegenkomment, da durch verspäteten Flug eine Nacht nicht berechnet, sehr leckeres, regionales Essen. Freies WLAN in der Lobby.

Wir dürfen uns nur glutenfrei ernähren. Das Hotel hat sich bestens vorbereitet und uns selbstgebackenes Brot und Muffins gebacken. Das Essen war super lecker, das Personal sehr freundlich und die Räumlichkeiten einfach ansprechend.
