It offers free parking and 3 outdoor hot tubs. All guest rooms at Reykholt Fosshotel have a work desk, satellite TV and special bedding with added vitamin E. Some guest rooms include a bathtub and a seating area. Icelandic cuisine and international dishes are served in Fosshotel’s restaurant. In summer, guests can enjoy their meals out on the terrace. Fosshotel Reykholt has a number of different wellness rooms, where guests can try aroma and daylight therapy. The relaxation room has a massage bench and a night sky ceiling. Other facilities at Fosshotel include a guest TV lounge with a DVD player and video games is also found on site. Attractions such as the Langjökull Glacier, the Surtshellir lava caves and the Hallmundarhraun lava field are all within walking distance from Fosshotel Reykholt. The Fosshotel Reykholt offers good beds, good breakfast and a good location for visiting the surroundings of Reykholt. The restaurant offers good food en the staff is friendly. The hotel is clean, but outdated. It needs a renovation badly The Fosshotel Reykholt is very expensive for a very outdated room, the price is much to high for what you get. The bathrooms are clean and fine, but not for a hotel of this price. We had to pay for WIFI, seperatly for our laptop and Ipod. We stayed in much cheaper hotels in Iceland, with similar bathrooms and free WIFI. There are much better places to stay within 50 km. This hotel was the only we have stayed in which had just a few guests. We have stayed in hotels for the same price in the neighbourhood wich were totally sold out: so Fosshotel Reykholt change youre rooms, you're attitude or your price.

leaving the hotel the following morning...... dont book a single room, my room was about 2m wide and 4m long with a tiny bathroom in the corner. For EUR8 more than I paid for my single room, my parents had a massive double room with lounge area. My reservation confirmation said check in was from 2pm, we arrived at 3:15 to be told that our rooms weren't ready and we had to wait until 4pm. the reservation clerk was incredibly unhelpful and didn't offer any suggestions or help until I stood my ground and requested at least 1 room so we could put our bags down... suddently rooms became available.

We enjoyed the unique aspects of the hotel, such as the wellness rooms and the focus on Norse mythology. The room size was large, which was excellend. The hot pots (hot tubs) could have been cleaner and the water was far too hot. Other hotels regulated the temperature, so it is possible. Also, the hotel lacked flair and seemed a bit old and run down.

We were the only people staying (another couple turned up later in the evening) which freaked us out at first - the place is huge, but actually made it perfect for a reunion with friends and my little daughter could also run about. The food was good (but obviously expensive), the hotel interesting, if a little surreal. Good fun. Rooms huge. Service great and hospitable. Lots of rooms to hang out in.

Die Zimmer sind veraltet, sehr schlecht isliert, Betten und Bettinhalt nicht komfortabel. Haben immer gefroren, trotz guter Heizung

Csend, béke, nyugalom, személyzet udvariassága A fürdőszaoba használhatatlan, nincs hidegvíz, csak forró, igen büdös víz folyik a csapokból. Fogat mosni sem leheta vízben. Nincs a szobákban telefon, hűtőszekrény.Nem éri meg az árát.

Izland nem olcsó hely, de a szálloda a semmi közepén helyezkedik el, mindentől távol és hihetetlen drága az étkezés. A szobát nem lehetett időben elfoglalni csak délután 4-kor.

Kellnerin sprach deutsch und war sehr freundlich. Abendessen im Hotel-Restaurant war sehr gut. Da keine Duschtasse vorhanden ist und der Abluß zu langsam ist, schwimmt das Badezimmer - besonders ärgerlich bei 3 Personen. Im Sommer würde ich mir Gardinen als Sichtschutz für die ebenerdigen Fenster zum Parkplatz wünschen. Beim Frühstück war das Personal durch eine Busgruppe völlig überfordert!

La qualité du restaurant ainsi que la gentillesse du personnel. L'insonorisation, mais aussi ... les chambres sont à rafraichir, cet hôtel se fait vieux

ホテルのシャワーのお湯が温泉水だったので、硫黄の香りとともに温泉気分を味わえました。周囲にはほとんど- 家もなく大自然を満喫できました。

Accueil très sympathique du patron. Les services sont de grande qualité, possibilité d'utiliser gratuitement des espaces détentes très agréables. Le diner du soir est excellent. Situation isolée.
