Fosshotel Reykholt  

The Fosshotel Reykholt offers good beds, good breakfast and a good location for visiting the surroundings of Reykholt. The restaurant offers good food en the staff is friendly. The hotel is clean, but outdated. It needs a renovation badly

The Fosshotel Reykholt is very expensive for a very outdated room, the price is much to high for what you get. The bathrooms are clean and fine, but not for a hotel of this price. We had to pay for WIFI, seperatly for our laptop and Ipod. We stayed in much cheaper hotels in Iceland, with similar bathrooms and free WIFI. There are much better places to stay within 50 km. This hotel was the only we have stayed in which had just a few guests. We have stayed in hotels for the same price in the neighbourhood wich were totally sold out: so Fosshotel Reykholt change youre rooms, you're attitude or your price.

dont book a single room, my room was about 2m wide and 4m long with a tiny bathroom in the corner. For EUR8 more than I paid for my single room, my parents had a massive double room with lounge area. My reservation confirmation said check in was from 2pm, we arrived at 3:15 to be told that our rooms weren't ready and we had to wait until 4pm. the reservation clerk was incredibly unhelpful and didn't offer any suggestions or help until I stood my ground and requested at least 1 room so we could put our bags down... suddently rooms became available.

Hotellet ligger I stille omgivelser. Tæt på flotte naturoplevelser.

Lage

Izland nem olcsó hely, de a szálloda a semmi közepén helyezkedik el, mindentől távol és hihetetlen drága az étkezés. A szobát nem lehetett időben elfoglalni csak délután 4-kor.

ホテルのシャワーのお湯が温泉水だったので、硫黄の香りとともに温泉気分を味わえました。周囲にはほとんど- 家もなく大自然を満喫できました。

Avslappet og fredelig. Gåavstand til tema over Snorre Sturlasson for de med historiske interesser. Natur og turgåing.
