Less than 5 minutes’ drive from the Great Geysir, these fully equipped cottages are set along the Tungufljot River, 9 km from Gullfoss Waterfall. Each offers a full kitchen and furnished terrace. Geysir Cottages all have a seating area with a sofa, as well as a bathroom with a shower. Some also feature a flat-screen TV, washing machine and additional toilet. For guests who come with fishing equipment, 2 fishing licenses from April to September are available at Geysir Cottages. There are also BBQ facilities. Area activities include hiking, scenic drives and a golf course, just 1 km away. Horseback riding trips can be arranged on site. Thingvellir National Park is 58 km away. We were upgraded to even bigger and more luxurious cottage. Spacy, well equipped. View on the geyser. It is quite hard to find. The cottages are not numbered.

Location is great for northern light photography. Cottage is of excellent condition. Cosy and comfortable home. Closed to geysir. We all like the cottage. Difficult to find the cottage, not possible to use garmin. there is no mobile data access to go online and trace location. We were assisted by the staff via phone. 2nd level and area underneath our bed were dusty.

Udsigten fra hytten fra helt suveræn, men kunne se Stokkur når den sprang fra vinduerne. Bedre udsigt kan ikke fås. Eneste minus var at jeg først 24 timer før ankomst kunne få oplyst hvad nummer hus det var vi havde lejet (skønt jeg have sent mange mail) Personalet ved Booking.com reagerede øjeblikkeligt da jeg ringede og klagede over dette. Meget fin service

Una casa rural en el medio de la naturaleza preciosa...muy cerca de los geysirs. Pudimos ver el geysir desde nuestra ventana! La casa tiene de todo y tiene un estilo muy bonito, muy acogedora. Si llegas por la noche igual es dificil encontrar el camino. Dijo en booking.com en español que habia dos cañas de pesca...pero en realidad no habia. En todos los idiomas en booking.com no dijo que habia, pero era una pena porque la reservamos con la idea de pescar.

L'emplacement et l'équipement du chalet étaient parfaits. Très confortable. Dommage que nous ayons eu besoin de chercher autant (non indiqué depuis la route). The location and the equipment of the chalet were perfect. Very comfortable. It is a pity we needed to look for the cottage so much (not indicated since the road) Malgré nos demandes par mails, le code d'accès nous est parvenu trop tard ; nous avons du solliciter des autoctones pour nous aider à trouver le logement et appeler un contact pour accéder au logement. Chauffage trop faible. In spite of our requests by e-mails, the access code reached us too late; we had to request autoctones to help us to find the house and to call a contact to reach the code number. Too low heating.

Nous ne trouvions pas la chalet, le propriètaire nous a gentiment guidė par téléphone. Pas facile de trouver le petit chemin depuis la route principale la nuit

Great cottage, decorated beautifully 30 sec drive from Geysir, 10 mins drive to Gullfoss Best location for Northern Light spotting - far away from Geysir road lights and great view from mountain A bit hard to find but ok in daylight
