On this occasion at this particular accommodation on our trip around Iceland we planned some late mornings after a hectic week, but due to the converted nature of the building noise is unfortunately inevitable from other guests above and around your room. Mainly in the mornings breakfast is started to be made at around 7am so you will be woken if you are staying on the ground level for sure. Also for me and my wife we found the pillows to be quite firm, but that's just our opinion on that. The wifi in the room isn't great but was good in the communal area. We found the price to be a little steep, it was the most expensive of all our "2 night at a time" stops in Iceland.
Our hostess was amazing and so lovely and friendly (Julia), who made fresh pancakes, baked bread and kept us fed for breakfast each morning. Stunning location on a farm with sheep, chickens and a very friendly dog. The kitchen is fully equipped for the guests to use freely, nice seating area and table to sit at. Nice size TV with many channels if you want to lounge about in the communal area. Room was spacious and clean, we had room 1 on ground level. Nice view out over the fields to the sea.
