Grand Hotel is situated 2 km from City center, which is good if you want to sleep during night - no party in the neibourghood. The restaurant has also very good dinners. We were very pleased with our stay in Grand.

The front desk staff members were knowledgeable, extremely helpful and accommodating at all times - can't say enough in praise of them! I had thought that the hotel was in the heart of the city - it is on the outskirts. That said, it was a 15 minute walk or a 3 minute bus ride into the city.

First time I went in the high season (July) when the hotel was fully booked. At that point there was so much personnel and nobody knew what was going on. Breakfast service was a disaster. The second time it was low season (End septeptember) and the hotel was not fully booked and all the services and customer-reception interactions were as you'd expect from a 4-star hotel.

This hotel was great, coming from a rather dismal hotel (we left because it was so bad and this was the only hotel available) brighten our day. The front desk service was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

室内がすごく清潔でとても気持ちよく滞在できたことです。スタッフのみなさんも親切でとてもフレンドリーで- した。 ダウンタウンまで徒歩１５分ほどとレビューで読みましたが、実は３０分ほどという事実にがっかりしました。- しかも時期がホリデーシーズンだったので、市内バスも走っておらず、結局ダウンタウンへは行くチャンスを逃- しました。

ホテルのスタッフがとても親切で、スーツケースの重さを測りたいと言ったら、従業員専用の部屋まで案内して- くれ、荷物の重さを測らせてくれた。その他、ささいな質問にも丁寧に対応してくれた。 温泉プールへ徒歩で１０分位で行く事ができた。 高層階からの眺めは良かった。 メインストリートへのシャトルバスもあるが、徒歩の場合、２０分位かかる（雪道だったのでなおさら）。

sehr gutes Frühstück im Preis incl., modernes Hotel, kostenlose Parkplätze, tolle Aussicht von den oberen Etagen kostenloses W-Lan nur in der Lobby, Restaurant viel zu teuer, kein intern. Fernsehen, SPA-Bereich ohne Liegen und nur gegen Gebühr!

Excelente serviço em geral e muito boas comodidades. O quarto é óptimo. O pequeno-almoço começa às 4:30, no entanto tem pouca variedade nas primeiras horas da manhã. Por outro lado, nas horas mais concorridas há muita gente e poucas mesas disponíveis. Em termos de localização, fica a cerca de 3 km do centro da cidade: algo longe para ir a pé e dispendioso para ir de táxi - cerca de 2.000 kr por trajecto (no entanto, o hotel tem transfer gratuito de manhã, ao almoço e ao fim do dia)

De uitstraling van dit hotel doet vermoeden dat het gerunt wordt door een professionele organisatie. Niets is echt minder waar, personeel is veelal erg jong (stagiaires) en niet geschoold. Door gebrek aan leiding en inzicht van het personeel was het ontbijtbuffet een rommeltje. Het is niet gelukt iets te bestellen in de lobbybar, men keek wel vanuit de receptie maar waarschuwde niemand ons te komen helpen. De dag dat er wel iemand stond was het wederom een jong ventje die niet te verstaan en niet ter zake kundig was. Wanneer je in dit hotel iets voor elkaar wilt krijgen moet je vastberaden en aanhoudend zijn. Ondanks de mooie kamer geen aanrader voor de prijs die je ervoor betaald.

Flotte fasciliteter. Bra som konferansedeltaker - kunne printe ut dokumenter. All service var god unntatt det som omhandlet rom/romendring, se nedenfor. Vi ble plassert på et rom med utsikt over bakgården, rommet var minimalt, sengen var 1 madrass og 1,5 M. I bredden. Jeg fikk nytt rom dagen etter, med utsikt over Reykjavik, slik det uttrykkelig stod I reservasjonen. Men det var ikke enkelt - hotellpersonalet påstod hele tiden at jeg hadde fått korrekt rom.

Systemet med vinduer som lukker seg automatisk har sikkert sine fordeler, vinduene på flere av rommene fungerte imidlertid ikke (lukket seg etter få minutter) og det tok urimelige lang tid å få ordnet det/ordnet med annet rom.

Os quartos executivos são novos e muito confortáveis. O staff da recepção sempre disponivel para ajudar. O pa muito completo e inclusivé se informados, prepararam pa para as 4h15 de manhã para pessoas com voos + cedo. De aproveitar a happy hour das 17 às 19 no Bar. Localizado perto de supermercado aberto 24h e alguns restaurantes economicos. Muitos autocarros com destino ao centro. Para quem faz tours é sempre o 1º a ser largado no final do tour. Sempre que o Tómas não estava no Bar o serviço era péssimo.

“It was clean, comfortable, in a perfect location - and most of all - it was quiet. It had all the necessities a traveller could need + additional space of an apartment compared to a small rooms Reykjavik hotel usually offer. Adjustable radiators are a very very important thing during the winter time as well ! Also, Reykjavik hotels in many cases are situated above or very near to night-clubs or pubs which makes it almost impossible to sleep there during the weekends. I stayed in Welcome Appartments Lindargata 38 apartment, and it has a perfect location - 3 minutes from Harpa conference hall, just around the corner from the main shopping street from one hand and the seashore from the other. Still there are no clubs or pubs next-door. The price was very good as well. I was extremely sattisfied with this choice !!!
