Beds had to be pushed together

The apartment was roomy, comfortable, and very clean. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the apartments to others, especially those who want to get away from the city, take a magnificent whale watching tour, or see the aurora borealis.

A double room has two single beds rather than a double, which we are used to. It was not a big deal; it was still very nice.

The building is a little far from main street and other houses. surrounded with factories maybe, a little dreariness when we walk back at night..

Great location to explore the snaefellsnes peninsula. Close to kirkjufellsfoss as well. Nice owner. Took time to explain what can be seen and done in the area.

We saw the Northern Lights over the water right from our bedroom. Kitchen well outfitted and roomy.

excellent value for money, in the UK we would probably call this a hostel, however the standard is extremely high with a great communal dining sitting area. we enjoyed our stay here and was able to enjoy short driving excursions. The local hotel food was excellent

We had a one-bedroom apartment where we slept 5 people for 2 nights. It was quite comfortable, and we saw the northern lights both nights we stayed there! The apartment has cooking facilities and was very warm. We even had to open the windows a bit to cool it down. Maybe it has geothermal heating? We were very happy with the place.

To check in to the apartment you first go to the Hostel reception in the middle of town and then have to find your way to the apartment yourself. The tourist info office was closed when we were there (Sept 16-17), and the town is small, so it's a bit hard to get info.

one of our towels smelled a bit weird the kitchen was well equipped but not for that many people a few more cutting knifes and boards would be good there were two ovens, but only one sink, that doesn't really make sense

The main house was fine but most of their rooms are in an industrial area of the town (on the water which is ok) above a warehouse or something. It did not have the feel of a hostel at all- they are usually busy and friendly-this place was almost empty and kind of sterile for the high prices that they are charging

Very noisy at night when you're trying to sleep. Location is near a shipping dock which operates at night and makes loud machinery and shipping dock noises when you're trying to sleep.

Great location, great place to stay and great views.

Price was a little high, but given the weekend that was understandable.

There was bathroom in the room, clean. The emplacement was good and confortable. You can use the kitchen with faciities

There was not internet for the clients (only wi-fi), The price was expensive, but in Island all hotel prices are expensive.

Too much of a hostel feeling even within the "apartments". Rooms were tiny. Building was very basic and industrial feeling.

The rooms look brand-new; and each room in the hostel has a different name. Our room had private shower and toilet.

The hostel's reception is located in the town's center - while the sleeping rooms, and other accomodation is in another place, about 700m away, located in an "industrial" area. (Baracks - but nonetheless, some nice views, if you manage to think away the hangars). There is no option to have breakfast - unless you go to the nearby hotel Framnes.

Very good value for money - i would recommend this hostel to everybody. Nice town, amazing view, friendly atmosphere and tidy rooms.

We stayed in the new harbour hostel building and the views were stunning. The room was nicely decorated and facilities were excellent.

The walls are quite thin so it was a bit noisy.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel en plein milieu de la zone portuaire. Le check in a l'autre bout de la ville et l'absence de personnel sur place (après quelques recherches nous avons trouvés un numéro de téléphone et avons du appeler pour qu'un membre du staff vienne nous accueillir)
