If you get a room in the main building, the only way to the bathroom is through the dining room full of people having their breakfast. This was a bit awkward.
The nearby main road, next to domestic airport, is quite noisy during the night.
The owners, Kristin and Hadla, are really nice people who did everything to make our stay comfortable, and more! Kristin warned us about the highland road closures, which we were not aware of. This allowed us enough time to change our cycling plans, as the initial plan was to cycle on F-208 to Vik. He also gave us a lift to a bike rental shop in the Old Port of Reykjavik, and stayed with us until we got our bikes. Getting on the roof of the guesthouse at midnight and enjoying the sun (we were there in June) was a really cool and bizarre experience.
