nice hotel and staff.

The guesthouse is just centered in the bay. There's great view to the ocean and the port.

Due to the fact that it is very close to the port, it smelled strong of fish in the morning (We were just one night there so I hope it was just a one timer).

Wifi did not work in the basement (where we lived). Basement smells a lot of mold! Bad breakfast (in the smell of mold).

Location was very good and it was easy to find. The host was very friendly and helpful. Had everything we needed for our stay.

Extremely small room, nothing but beds, breakfast served just behind our room door (in between our room and toilets). We had to wait half an hour for the hotel manager to get the key.

The toilet was blocked and leaking and there was a problem with all the drains so we were unable to use the bathroom at all and had to walk across the road to use the shared facilities in the other building. Not ideal with the children and would have been a big issue but we were only staying one night. Not what you expect for what was an expensive night's accommodation.

There is a huge difference between the different facilities (kitchen, toilets, bathrooms, living room) between different room types. We used the common kitchen in the upper house which is old and looks dirty, unequiped, and extremely small. A family of four could hardly get in.

Location and lobsters at the nearby restaurant - very big dish for the good money.

Dirty windows spoiled the nice ocean view.

The guesthouse is located harborside in Hofn. The rooms are small but clean. Shared facilities are maintained well. The free breakfast offers a wide vareity of food. We were also offered an additional bedroom for free because an additional bed (we requested triple occupancy) would've been too tight.

The rooms lacked some basic amenities. There were only 2 hangers on the closet. There could have been hooks on the door or wall to hang clothes or a towel. The toilet area did not have a flat surface large enough to rest a tooth brush while using the sink. The wifi did not work inside the room. A double room should 2 end tables and 2 lights.

Check the exchange rate they charge you! In our case we were charged too much! And that not by accident!

Breakfast was acceptable.

2Nd floor rooms were acceptable but 1st floor where I stayed was not great. For the price it's not worth it. I would pay little more and get a decent room to stay somewhere else. Very dissapointed.

it was just an overnight stop off on our trip around the country - the guesthouse was fine for this purpose but I would not recommend staying in Hofn. The guesthouse was clean and tidy and the man on reception was nice.

The room smelled musty and the hallway smelled of poo. And I thought it was too expensive for what it was, which was very basic.

The location is quite nice. The facilities (shared bathrooms) are in good condition.

The staffs really absent (literally). Breakfast becomes a kind of challenge when more than 5 people try to do so at the same time, since the room is extremely small.

The rooms are small and noisy. The room look like a jail room! The breakfast is ridiculus ( in the bad way). No facilities. Internet didn't work.

The upstairs apartment in which we stayed was really lovely in every respect. The bedrooms were small but certainly adequate, the common area and kitchen huge for this type of accommodation. Spacious sofa, big tv and beautiful, picturesque location right at the harbor. Several really good restaurants right nearby. Proprietor very helpful and friendly. Wi- fi for up to two devices included.

The included breakfast was a little lame, but the coffee was good and the other aspects of the facility really outweighed that.

The window shutters

There was a strange smell in the room probably from the carpets and the mattress of the 2nd bed which had no sheets had yellow stains. Apart from that the wall plugs were located near the ceiling! What made very difficult to charge any electrical device F.E. cell phone or camera charger. The shared bathroom was incredibly small and there was no accoustic isolation as you could hear the other guests as if they were in your own room. Finally it is very far away from the bus stop.

Nice location next to the harbor. Free Wi-Fi. Good breakfast.

Room very small and old. Our room was at the ground floor, next to the entrance, so very noisy because of the closing doors and early in the morning because of the served breakfast.

Good location at the shore line next to the port, shared bathrooms and showers nice and clean
