Guesthouse Keflavík  

We booked Guesthouse Keflavik but were given a room in the Hotel across the street (which seems to happen a lot). The Hotel was very nice, especially for the price. Breakfast was the best we had in Iceland, a notch above the standard with more choices. Nice view of the bay.

The view from our room was nice. We were to stay at guesthouse, but it had not been cleaned and prepared for us, hotel quickly accommodated us with a room in hotel. Breakfast was phenomenal!

Nothing really...if I had to complain, it would be our room was hot! But otherwise, it was perfect!

Excellent breakfast, helpful and friendly staff.

Very small room in the guesthouse with basic furniture. After we've put there our luggage there was no space to move around. Wifi was not working both in the guesthouse and in the hotel lobby.

Great place to stay. Delicous breakfast. Good and accurate information that I have received before arriving and very nice surprise at the hotel- from the guesthouse we were rebooked to the hotel:)

We had to check in at the hotel across the road and ended up staying there instead for no extra. Breakfast was incredible, everything you could want, cakes, smoked salmon etc etc

We had a free upgrade from the guesthouse to the hotel keflavik. It was very good there! So we have no experience to share about the guesthouse.

Staff were extremely helpful in helping me sort out a few traveling troubles. They kindly printed my boarding pass, a schedule of shuttles to the Hahn airport, and loaned me an alarm clock as both my watch and mobile phone were out of commission. I made my flight thanks to their help.

We had a free upgrade to stay at the Hotel instead of the Guesthouse which was very good! So the value for money was excellent! The restaurant is also very good with big and tasty portions.

The decor is dated.

Excellent location for Keflavik airport. Breakfast provided in the Hotel Keflavik across the road was excellent! Facilities are adequate for a very short stay.

Very basic. No kettle in the kitchen. Not the most comfortable beds. Probably wouldn't reccommed if you are travelling alone.

We had a very good stay, but I must say we were upgraded to the hotel in stead of the guesthouse. Friendly staff and very good value for money. Nice that breakfast is available from 05.00 already.

The restaurant was 'suddenly' closed, which was inconvenient, but not problematic

We were upgraded to stay at keflavik hotel when we arrived. We only seen the outside of guesthouse. It is the same staff at both as you check in at hotel. It's very close to shops, food places, the blue lagoon and the airport. Perfect if you arrive late or leave Iceland early from the airport.

Great airport location and only short distance from Reykjavik, but you need to have a car. Nice breakfast in the hotel across the street!

If you stay in the guesthouse, you are treated like a second class citizen at the concierge desk at the hotel across the street that owns the guesthouse. You also must prepay your room at the check-in. Ok to stay for one night

The guest house is run by the hotel across the street. They were full in the guest house so I stayed in the hotel and enjoyed a great meal.

Roms are getting a little tired.

Close to airport, open 24 hrs, kitchen for guests, reasonably quiet, excellent breakfast included, good matresses on beds.

Shower tends to flood, leaving bathroom messy. Microwave in kitchen, but no bowl that fits inside.

Very inexpensive. Bathroom down a hall, but very close. Free coffee, hot chocolate at sister hotel across the street. Excellent hotel restaurant.

Zakwaterowali nas w hotelu na przeciwko, czysto i przyjemnie.Blisko lotniska, samochodem 5 min. Śniadania pierwsza klasa, podróżuje dużo, ale to śniadanie było najlepsze jakie kiedykolwiek jadłam, duży wybór i naprawdę pyszne.W hotelu zostawiłam ładowarkę do telefonu, została mi zwrócona po kilku dniach.Uczciwi pracownicy.Polecam!

We hadden het guesthouse geboekt maar werden in het hotel geplaatst! Ipv gedeelde badkamer een gloednieuwe privebadkamer en andere hotelfaciliteiten. En dat voor 13,75 pp!!! Inclusief ontbijt, wat overigens erg uitgebreid en heerlijk was! Locatie was prima, zoals gewenst vlakbij het vliegveld.
