The location close to Keflavik airport is excellent and also the fact that they offer a free airport shuttle. The facilities are nice and clean. The breakfast was very poor. Also, when we checked in, nobody was there (it was only 7:30pm) so we could not ask about the time of the airport transfer the next morning. So everything was a bit chaotic in the morning, because we did not see anyone in the morning either until the time when we had to leave to the airport.

It was a fully equipped and clean cabin with private bath near the airport at Keflavik. The breakfast offered a good choice of foods. We thought that a shuttle would be available to take us from the airport to the guesthouse even though our flight came in late. There was no way to contact them at that time, though.

This is a perfect choice for anyone who's in transit and has to be close to the airport. We stayed in a bungalow (instead of the rooms) which though small was cosy, clean and well-equipped - really, all we needed. A lot of the reviews about airplane noise proved to be untrue, at least for us . I found it totally quiet and peaceful (but then again, we were very tired). The shuttle to the airport (ours set off at 5:45am) was a great plus. Recommended.

It was chosen for it's close location to the airport and the efficiency in transferring us to the airport, very early in the morning was very good. It was also pleasing to be able to self-serve some breakfast before leaving, which we did not expect, but hoped would be available. Thank you Early departures for the airport are obviously a major part of the hotels business and sadly the occupants of the next room were very noisy indeed, in the middle of the night with no thoughts for other guests. We felt it would be good if visitors were told of people likely to be sleeping in an attempt to help others sleep if this could be arranged - even a simple notice. Thank you

Very near to the airport, transportation to airport, early breakfast, good price, helpful staff, very good to spend one night from or to the airport. For more days, cottage would be too small. Nothing to complain off. We were there for only one night so very good for what we needed

Very convenient location - we stayed in a bungalow chalet which was nice and quiet, and very well equipped The bed is very small for two. I would recommend using the sofa bed as well for more space.

Our flight arrived around 1:00am and were picked up within a few minutes of phoning. We stayed here as the trip to Reyljavik is about 1 hour and we just wanted somewhere to sleep. These tiny wood cabins are basic and functional and set well apart from eachother. Breakfast was grim. There is a lot of accommodation available, from camping to these wooden huts so it gets quite busy at reception. They offer regular shuttles back to the airport where you can get a bus to Reykjavic. There is a taxi service on the premises. The huts were small and rickety, but fine for the night, especially when arriving in the early hours.

A great place to stay with a variety of accommodation from camping to dorms and private camping. A free shuttle picks you up and the motel is well connected by buses to local attractions and the city. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly, all seemed part of the family business. The bikes we hired could do with a service but the rate was good and they were fine for our needs. The cabin we stayed in was very cosy and very well equipped. We would recommend this as a place to stay near the Blue Lagoon and Southwest peninsula. Overall there was nothing really about this hotel we didn't like! There is nowhere to eat very close by, but lots of places within easy reach of car or taxi. The double bed in our room was actually two single mattresses but that seems fairly standard for Iceland!

Provide breakfast No pick up at airport, I had been send several e-mail to request to arrange the shuttle, however, no reply, lastly, we walked along the road in a rainy night for 2 km at midnight, it is unforgottable and unhappy experience when I first arrived iceland

Close to airport. Very loud! Airplanes and cars are the least problem. So poorly built that the whole building shakes and vibrates when anyone walks up or down the stairs and you can hear it in the rooms all night long. Not worth the convenience or price given the annoyance.

We liked how the shuttle would come and get us at the airport and how we could arrange to meet the Excursions bus at the airport too. There was good information at the hotel, lots of maps and brochures. The person on the desk both days we stayed was extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast items need to be upgraded. The coffee is not very good and there was not very much choice in food.
