Great food, nice location
Really beautiful and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast.
The kitchen was beautiful, but lacking tools. Wi-fi was only working in common areas.
We spent just one night in our trip through Iceland. Just one step more. Everything was ok, but unfortunately, we forgot one suitcase!!!! We realized 200 km far away. Just by phone, the very kind staff arranged to send us the luggage the next day. They made it very easy. Many thanks
The desk clerk gave us ice for our cooler. You can't buy ice at the gas station like you can in the US. The room was beautiful with pine walls & ceilings. We didn't dinner at the hotel, but the dining room looked lovely. We walked up the hill for cheap cheeseburgers that were very good.
No wifi in the room, only in common areas.
Great location, clean and fully-equipped kitchen. The breakfast is pretty good too
The wifi didn't arrive to the hut
Room had view of lake, was clean and comfortable, room was not in hotel but separate building which was quiet
No onsite laundry, had to go to campground, food in restaurant pricey and limited choices in town. Some staff unfriendly.
The hotel had no hot water which was a real inconvenience and the staff did not seem to care.
Good view of fjord, lovely little woodedn room, nice staff.
the place is very nice, for chance thereis a swimming pool.
if you do not wakeup very early you just get cold water on shared shower installation. The apartement is made for a family but not for four families. .of 3 /4 ..unfair price /quality.
Excellent breakfast and dinner. The hotel itself is located charmingly.
We didn't know we would end up in an (uninspiring) annex uphill where the WiFi-connection was nil. Fortunately we were the only residents there, otherwise there would have been a lot of sound disturbance.
Lovely clean room. Warm , comfortable, good view of sea and harbour. Breakfast and dinner very good
fantastic location, wonderful scenery
The restaurant The staff
Out of toiletpaper Had to walk to a different location in heavy rain Lightbulbs were out Noisy
Very nice town. The main building is very nice and perfectly located.
Our room was located in a charmless building a couple of blocks from the harbour. I do not remember having been notified of that when I made the booking. Shared bathroom was not that clean.
This hotel is incredible! Our favorite place we stayed our entire time in Iceland.
The wifi didn't work in our room. Worked great in the common space though.
WI FI DIDN'T WORK IN ROOMS BY THE SWIMMING POOL
Great location for boat tour to Papay island. Quiet Good food
Paying for breakfast.
Beautiful hotel, very nicely decorated inside (all was wooden). Spic-and-span clean. Rooms and bathroom were spacious. The personnel was extremely helpful; we arrived at 1:00 in the morning and although their kitchen closed at 21:00, they were kind enough to arrange a soup for us, set the table and serve us. Very hospitable indeed! Very good location to use as a base to explore East Iceland.
I found the hotel a bit on the pricey side, esp. given it's so far away from everything. The breakfast buffet could offer some more choice, but anything served was of excellent quality.
location, breakfast included, staff,
room were dark
Cabin looks very nice, bathroom was new and modern. Location is good and very relaxed. Personnel very friendly
You only have 15 minutes hot water per hour, so if you are traveling with two or more people -keep in mind to keep it short.
Nice location. Close to shops and seaside
price is a little bit higher than other similar hotel
Great room overlooking the Harbor, very comfortable, with a beautiful hallway going back to the rooms. One of the few hotels in the area it was a great stopping point.
