Cheap Location ok if you have car Close to supermarket Close to vin bud for beers and wine Restaurants Taco Bell off close by if u want cheap food Had kitchenette basic but usable Great for 60 euros a night better than we would get in the UK for that money
Noisey thin walls could hear people smashing a ball against our wall till midnight Kitchenette very basic not much food prep gear and only one hot plate worked Very basic not very inspiring, don't spend your hole holiday here
Location and price
Group of children, Wifi not working in the room
Breakfast and staff were great
The smell in the bathroom from the drains was strong and not nice
easy accessible, good price/value for a stopover.
nothing to do in the area, its outside Reykjavik. For a 1 night visit good
The staff with whom I spoke were very helpful; the room was comfortable and (despite having only booked a normal double room), I had a rudimentary kitchen. It was rather sparsely equipped BUT I hadn't asked for it and I suspect the staff would have got me anything else if I had asked. Breakfast buffet was generous and good quality.
Hafnarfjörður was once a lovely coastal village but is now a rather ugly suburb of Reykjavík. The hotel is a about 2km away from the harbour area (the only nice bit) but there is a bus stop right outside. I liked the hotel very much; but I would never recommend Hafnarfjörður for a vacation and only stayed there because of an event nearby.
Great location for anyone traveling in a car - we had a fantastic week stay - free parking all round the Hotel - staff who know the area and the tour sights - great breakfast - spacious rooms with very comfortable beds - can't recommend this Hotel enough - you will enjoy it!

Morgunmaturinn var einfaldur en góður
Friendly helpful staff, comfortable beds, quiet rooms. Good breakfast.
Lack of cooking related utensils etc in room. Lack of sharp knife, bottle opener, frying pan, cutlery in general. Hairdryer.
I appreciated the handiness of the reasonably furnished kitchenette (grocery store a 10 min walk)and the deluxe single was a good hStaff helpful and pleasant. Included breakfast was excellent-particularly the oatmeal and the skyr. Pleasant walk into town which had pretty views of the harbour, an interesting museum and elf stones.
TV was limited and wifi good for surfing only. Linens were threadbare with some holes. Location not inconvenient, but unlovely, as many of these aparthotels are (generally located in stripmalls).
By far the best value we found in Iceland the rooms were huge and extremely well furnished as well the bus to the city only takes 20 min
breakfast. close to airport, staff was incredibly helpful, free luggage storage
it is in a suburban wasteland with not much around
Cleanliness, breakfast, good beds, friendly staff, and nice size rooms.
pillows were extremely thin.
Good Breakfast Silent Rooms Good Wifi
a bit overpriced
From the moment we arrived, until we left 5 days later, we were extremely happy here. The reception staff, particularly Jon, were friendly, efficient, helpful and knowledgable. Our room had the most amazing view, well worth paying a little extra. There was good storage space and a very comfortable bed. The heating was amazing and warmed the room up very quickly. Being very fond of gadgets, we were pleased with the number of electic sockets in sensible places. We enjoyed the breakfasts which had a good selection of food, including fresh fruit. The free car park was very useful, as was the delicious bakery around the corner.
Poor quality toiletries, but not a problem as we had read previous reviews and brought our own.
Hotel has a good standard. Nothing fancy, but solid, quiet, and clean all round. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful whatever the time of day. Located in a mixed suburb area, it is very easily reached by car and makes for a perfect stopover when travelling around Iceland or doing business in Reykjavik.
Plenty of space. Basic kitchen. Two comfortable chairs. Large bathroom with a bath. Breakfast in the basement. Free parking. Easy to find.
The view wasn't great, but it is on the dual carriageway near an industrial estate.
The value is outstanding. It is close enough to the city that the drive is only a few minutes. The breakfast buffet included in the price was excellent, and really makes this a great choice for a family.
Helpful staff, good food range at breakfast, inexpensive for ensuite room in Reykjavik area, direct easy dropoff/pickup by Flybus from airport, bus into town <5 minutes walk, several restaurants nearby
Very lovely Hotel, With good food! and nice people!! :)
all staff is great size of rooms cleanliness bus stop nearby
just missing scrambled eggs in morning
Clean and comfortable
Everything was excellent - Free parking - Free - WIFI - Free - Breakfast - Free - Large room with everything you want - will defo stay again
Smelly room and it is certainly expensive for the price!
Liked the location. We could zip in and out of Reykjavik as well as avoid it when we were doing side trips. Free parking was always available. The town was of Hafnarfjodur was quiet and pleasant.
The linen needs to be refreshed.
