The staff were extremely helpful and found us at breakfast to see if they could help us decide our trips. All very friendly and had plenty of time to help their customers. Dinner was amazing. Use it as a base for glacier tours, golden circle and Vik. The outdoor hot tub was excellent, especially in the freezing horizontal rain. Unfortunately they cater for big groups on Wednesdays and Saturdays and we had to share the hottub.

Nice country hotel with friendly staff and a great view from the room window. We had fish soup and chicken for dinner in the hotel restaurant which was excellent. The variety of the breakfast buffet was not really exciting. The tv set in the room was quite old with only 6 programs. The light in the bathroom was poor. There was no lift. We had to carry our luggage into the first floor. We do not expect all these features from a country hotel, but what we do not understand is that the price was similar to the much better equipped hotel in Reykjavik where we stayed the next night.

We were literally the only guests so it was very very quiet and peacefull. Appreciated the 3 staff around in the morning layed out a full breakfast just for us. On arrival at the hotel we were checked in by a chap who made us both feel uncomfortable... Not very friendly. He wasn't around the following morning however. Wifi in the room was rubbish but fine in the lobby.

Mooi ruim complex met fraaie tuin. Goede keuken. Computer met gratis internet beschikbaar en als je wilt printen mag je op de computer van de receptioniste. Bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Goede locatie voor uitstapjes naar Geysir, Gullfoss, Thingvellir en de hooglanden. Onze kamer was verouderd, met een te smal tweepersoons bed, geen plek om je koffer neer te zetten en een zeer beperkt tv-aanbod met matige ontvangst. Onze badkamer was volkomen achterhaald, met een te kleine wastafel en een te kleine douchecabine. Wij betaalden 115 euro per nacht, hetgeen echt te duur is voor dit niveau. Het restaurant is erg goed, maar er is geen kaart en je hebt niets te kiezen. De kok bereidt een 3-gangen verrassingsmenu voor 37 euro exclusief drankjes en dat is het. Je zit dus vast aan tamelijk hoge dinnerkosten, tenzij je bereid bent om 25 km te rijden naar Selfoss.

hotel de campo muy tranquilo, el personal muy profesional, quizas los mas profesionales encontrados en 10 dias de viaje una libreria, una sala con dvds..en un dia de lluvia cuando no puedes ir de paseo es un poco limitado

Grei beliggenhet i forhold til aktuelle serverdigheter, meget god mat og hyggelig og serviceinnstilt betjening. Lå litt ensomt til, ellers Ikke noe spesielt.

Very nice staff, and relaxed atmosphere. Delicious food at dinner. Arranged breakfast at 06.30 due to our early departure. Lovely room and good bed. We were very satisfied with our stay, wish we could have stayed longer!
