Very friendly staff. Great sea view from the rooms (even when it's pouring rain!). Rooms with the balcony on the sea are highly recommended. Restaurant and reception both have very nice sea views. Food was very good (lobster soup).Great place for a calm and romantic week-end (from reykjavik;-)
Welcome was good and the room comfortable with views across the coast. Good breakfast and comfortable lounge area.Good place to explore Snafellsness from
clean, excellent sleep quality
expensive for a family of 5
The view from the hotel was lovely and to be able to walk a long the coastal path was great. The food was excellent and the staff friendly. The reception area was welcoming.
Nothing except the room was quite small and basic
Hotel atmosphere Great view Location Excellent breakfast and dinner
Staff not that helpful Room quite small for the price
The staff, room, restaurant are all excellent. The hotel is well situated along the south shore of the peninsula with easy access to all the park has to offer.
The only minor detractor was the shower setup is more attractive looking than practical. The shower door was not long enough so there was water that spread throughout the bathroom if you weren't careful with the shower head.
The location was superb, as was our room - renovated and with a nice cottage-style interior.
Even with the booking number our booking could not be identified immediately.
The location is perfect for exploring the national park. We did the coastal walk in the evening and it was gorgeous.
The price. We thought it rather expensive.
Good location with great views of mountains and sea.
Not much in terms of facilities. Installing a hot tub would be good. Service with no smile. Staff is not as warm as other establishments. Wifi is rather slow.
Loved the location. The hike behind the hotel was awesome and the view of Snaefellsjokull glacier was magnificient. The rooms were nice and clean and the food at the restaurant was excellent.
People walking through the restaurant with their luggage. Evidently there was no other entry to the west side hotel rooms.
Everything about our stay was great. Beautiful coastal walk to next village. Excellent service and care. Great food (dinner and breakfast).
Good clean room in great location.
Evening meal expensive - no other options nearby.
excellent dinner, good place to start explore Snæfellsnes Peninsula
This was a great place to stay, enjoyed the country around. Would recommend to others. Sharon Reedsport Oregon
The place was clean and the view was very nice.
Two people in our group got cold food for dinner. They tried to cook the food again and it was still cold. My food was great/ I also thought it was quite pricy.
The hotel decor is very nice. A lot of selection at breakfast. There's a cliff/cave by the beach with a lot of kittiwakes, only a short walk from the hotel. Lots of sightseeing in the area as well.
The room we stayed in is a bit small.
Clean, breakfast was wonderful! Design was great!
Would have been nice to have door access closer or easier to room. We had to drag our luggage across gravel parking lot, through lobby and then down several steps to our room. There was a door at the end of the hall that was at the same level as the parking lot. Maybe instead of making that door just an emergency exit, you could have locked access at that end.
Well decorated lobby and nice restaurant.
Very small rooms with no complementary tea/coffee/water kettle in room. Staff not very helpful.
The restaurant is the real stand out at this hotel: dinner and breakfast were both delicious! The location also makes for easy access to post prandial walking trails and to the mountain itself. Wifi astounding given the location.
Nothing not to like; the hotel itself is quite pleasant, but it is really the food that we remember from our stay.

very big and comfortable room and bathroom. cozy loby with great sea view. excellent restaurant.
The nice people in the reception, the sight/nature/ocean, silentness, the old church, Snæfellsnes, the nature with the caves.... the room, the openness
the pictures published are very nice but when we got there we were told that they dont have double bed rooms at all only twins( standart). the room was tinny. could not move around the bed. in the morning , no water for showering and they couldnt care less.
Spacious room, view, restaurant
Wifi not available in room and water facilities did not work correctly (no warm water and no pressure)
nice location for hiking and scenic drives
