Pleasant hotel and good location

An extremely efficient hotel. The only hotel we stayed in during a 12-day trip that offered a make-up mirror in the bathroom and hot milk with the morning coffee. I would give them 15 stars for the hot milk!!

The hotel receptionist on duty during our stay was excellent -really knew her job and made us immediately welcome. Nothing was too much trouble including our non-dairy needs for meals and even the laundry service. This lady needs to be told this as an inspiration to others. Martin and Lorraine Roubicek

Food was good, Decor was very nice. Staff was very nice.

Internet was not working properly, we had to go to the lobby to use our computers.

We would like to give praise two employees: mazena & dagny. Mazena helped correct problem with the restaurant, and dagny helped my wife see a dr. In hofn. Tappa strategica per chi effettua il giro dell' isola. Buon albergo anche se piuttosto caro. Ristorante adeguato alle stesse caratteristiche.

Nette, kompetente Leute. Kaum Lärm trotz vollem Haus. Sehr schönes Zimmer.

Abendessen im Restaurant teuer (wie in allen richtigen Restaurants in Island). Billiger ist es an der Tanke (Hamburger usw).

Frábært hótel á fögrum stað í einstaklega góðu veðri 25° og sól.

L' albergo è bello e moderno. Senza quell' aria bolscevica caratteristica di molti altri alberghi dell' isola. Nota questa forse comune a molti alberghi scandinavi. Personale come al solito gentilissimo. Prezzo di 127€ con prenotazione molto ma molto anticipata in linea con I costi locali. Il ristorante, decisamente elegante, è invece terribilmente caro e la renna, dichiarato cavallo di battaglia, era tenace ed insapore. Cenate quindi fuori.

Bisher das schönste und komfortabelste Hotel auf unserer Rundreise. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und geräumig, das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Egilstadir hat kaum Attraktionen und liegt auch ziemlich weit von solchen entfernt, aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts. Deshalb nur als Zwischenstation gut geeignet. WLAN war bisher nur hier kostenpflichtig.

Es un hotel anodino con aires de hotel importante. Es caro y no tiene nada que lo justifique

Angenehm möblierte und saubere Zimmer. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Man konnte selber Waffeln machen, was ich genossen habe.

Wlan nur gegen Gebühr von 9 Euro für 24 Stunden.

The room and bathroom were spatious and very clean. The staff were EXTREMELY nice. The restaurant was good - good food, a bit pricey but within Iceland's standards, friendly staff. We were surprised to find out that breakfast was included, and it was a really good breakfast. It is possible to order a capuccino, but you have to pay for it.

There is no wifi - although there is a computer with access to internet to be used for free at the lobby. We were there only for one night and found out during breakfast that you can order a picknic basket, but it was too late to order it. If we had known the evening before, we would have ordered it and it would have been very convenient.
