We did not eat at the hotel at all so cannot comment about their food, however, the room was extremely comfortable (junior suite) and the staff extremely helpful. |

The hotel is located in good central position. We ate once in the restaurant and this was really excellent. Many of the reviews said that the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly but that wasn't our experience. The restaurant was closed to residents the day we arrived but no alternative arrangements had been made for dinner. The breakfast was very average with the 'hot' breakfast always cold. We had a junior suite which was fine except for the bathroom which was very small and only had a shower but no bath. |

This Hotel can be absolutely recommended. The rooms are big, bath is ok. The Dinner was great. The center of Reykjavik can be reached within one or two minutes by foot. You won't regret to choose this hotel. |

Great location, warm, older, traditional design, great staff. Needs to reinvest some money back in the hotel for a makeover. TV's in rooms were 1970 models with fuzzy reception, computer's downstairs were slow and weren't able to print. |

The staff is fantastic, even before my stay at the hotel we exchange e-mails and they always was prompt to help. I also liked the location of the hotel, very close to all attraction but not in the middle of it, and Reykjavik can get pretty loud at their runtur on weekends. I thought the TV was quite not up to date. The rooms are nice but I would classify as a 4 star hotel... maybe 3 1/2 star. |

The beds, although twin, were the most comfortable beds ever. The staff was very friendly and helpful.Didn't eat at the restaurant, but the smells were wonderful. A popular place on the weekends so must be well known throughout the city. Rooms are small in comparison to what you get in the U.S., but I understand typical for Iceland. |

Uns hat das Gesamtkunstwerk holt gut gefallen. Es ist stimmig als "Museumshotel" zu sehen. Die Mitarbeiter sind ausgenommen zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. War eine gute Wahl. Eigentlich waren ja Europreise mit Booking com ausgemacht. Es wurden mir dann aber Kronen in Rechnung gestellt. Ich weiß nun eigentlich erst bei meiner Kreditkartenabrechnung wie viel ich wirklich bezahlt habe. Die Zusicherung bei meiner Buchung war also nur vorläufig???????!!!??? Ihre Antwort dazu würde mich interessieren! Vielen Dank. |

Stilfullt lugn atmosfär. Man trivs. Fantastisk miljö med all vacker konst. Frukosten skulle kunna utvecklas. Lite att välja mellan även om det som fanns smakade väldigt bra. |

Meget bra hotell, svært imøtekommende personale Internett som de averterer med at er gratis, er der men virker ikke på en slik måte at det går an å jobbe på noe online. Svart dårlig linje. |
