Great stay with an excellent breakfast. We caught an excellent view of the northern lights from the field behind the hotel.
Floors can be a bit loud when walking.
Quiet location adjacent to a pleasant walk up a valley with friendly horses and a lovely waterfall at the end. Enjoyed watching moonrise and sunrise. Spaciousness of the room.
Good location and Good restaurant ( dinner and breakfast)
Location. Breakfast. Facilities.
Style of rooms and furniture
comfortable room and good food
problem with wi-fi at the time I visited
Location,food and facilities. Big rooms.
Nothing all good!
Great location. We stayed there after a beautiful trek at landmanalaugar. Good restaurant (both dinner & breakfast)
No wifi in our building (in spite of what was announced). Showers, no bath tubs.
Hugh breakfast with a big range of different things, friendly stuff, beautiful and comfortable rooms, nice view.
No bad things to say about this accomodation!
Good location though at the end of a typically-rough Icelandic gravel road. Nice view out our window of the adjacent farm and cliffs. It was a room on the west side which we appreciated. A very large room with a tv, which was also nice to have. Great, though as typical for Iceland, expensive restaurant. Good fish. Breakfast was the best on our trip; a full buffet.
Very quiet rooms
Food a little expensive, even for Iceland.
Our rooms all looked out on the parking which was only ten feet away. the other side of the main building had a great view and I would not have been disappointed with the front view had it not been filled with cars and parking lot noise. As well, in the rain, it was not an obvious walk to the dining room and we bushwhacked through a hedge to get there.
good mid-way stop between east Iceland and Reykjavik restaurant on site
bathroom door in our room impossible to close without slamming restaurant food was ok but there is probably better in the area
Food was excellent Waitress was excellent Stayed in the motel rather than bungalows, it was excellent.
Front desk lady could have been nicer. She got flustered when we didn't have a voucher. Not many people have vouchers these days!
Peaceful Great location Private
Cabins a bit small for two adults and our small child
Big Room, WiFi. The location is pretty, although pretty much in the middle of nowhere !
Hotel itself is very bland, more like a budget Travel motel really. Food and drink were below average in quality, with a very high price tag. The staff weren't very attentive, and had a poor understanding of English ( they were not Icelandic)
No wifi in the room only in lobi
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Food was enjoyable, although dinner menu was quite limited. Lovely location.
Bedroom smelt very damp and unpleasant. Dining room was quite a distance from the main building on an uneven path which we were not expecting and in the pouring rain this caused difficulties for the member of our party who has mobility problems.
Beautiful country working farm
bad quality mattress on bed in cottege
Very clean, good breakfast, good location for exploring the area
Beautiful location, very friendly staff, good food
Food was the way more expensive than in other places; after one very short shower we ran out of hot water and my daughter had to finish washing in freezing shower
The hotel is showing signs of wear, but it's ok, especially given the heavy traffic that it must see. The staff seemed eager to please.
The shower drain did not work properly, but otherwise it was ok.
There was no internet connection
It is also a farm - sheep and horses...We asked the owner if we could look around and we got an hour-long tour..They were incredibly nice. It's not something that they advertise but they should. It was fantastic!
