|Opening in June 2015, this stylish 16-floor hotel provides great city and sea views.|
everything was very good
Room with a superb view of the football stadium and city, a bit out of town and therefore quiet. Standard hotel in a chain.
Directions to hotel poor. Name on hotel not the same. A Radison but not able to get Carlton points. Out of the way location. Poor parking.
The room was very big and clean. Ideal location when traveling by car.
The hotel needs to be refurbished. But all in all we have been very satisfied with our choice.
there was a smell when I came into the room and I identified it to be the shower curtain having a sour smell. after I notified the reception they quickly changed and corrected the mistake and gave me some additional benefit. personell was very helpful and I appreciated the letter from hotel manager to appoligse and offer a couple of drinks at the bar.
Staff very helpful
High price for the hotel quality and location Wi-Fi did not work well
The rooms were clean. It was good value for money. Location while not central was easily accessed by public transport. Staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast was included.
Limited choice of places to eat nearby in the evening.
Comfy, clean environment with friendly, helpful staff.
No tea and coffee in rooms for tea and coffee addicts like us. Wi Fi barely worked.
Big room and good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Location is 30 min walk from downtown. The hotel need some maintenance.
Very comfortable bed, nice size of the room, good breakfast (starting 4 in the morning!), quiet location.
The hotel would gain with some basic refurbishment. The location is for people who either have a car, have meetings in the area or know their way around. Far from downtown. Having institution for elderly people on the second floor is also discouraging (well, the idea to change the hotel into a nursing home might be good, but only if it is not used as a regular hotel anymore...it is kind of confusing, plus the smell of a hospital...)
I liked the breakfast and the view from the window.
Long walk to the city centre (30 min one way)
Room size and facility Great view: the hotel first allotted us a room with an inner view, but changed it later to a super view Great staff: As the wifi was not working through the four nights we stayed at the hotel, they charged us only for three nights. great gesture
Location: the hotel is minimum half hour walk from any action in the city. If going there as a tourist, the hotel needs to offer a drop off facility else its not feasible to stay here Wifi was down throughout our stay of 3.5 days
Very good help from the staff.
Easy to get into town centre. Lots of parking. Friendly staff.
Noise from building site next door. Room was very hot. Facility for tea and coffee, but nothing provided, including kettle.
Great Staff! Good value for Reykjavik.
Location is not city centre; no option to walk; no nearby restaurants, sites, etc . A car is a must.
The rooms were nice, and clean. The staff were helpful and nice
While the location was convenient to 2 bus stops, it felt a bit out of the way and wasn't very close to restaurants or shopping
Good rooms, quiet. Very good breakfast.
Good hotel with good breakfast and value for money.
Bedroom too hot
Very helpful staff, nice breakfast, room was cleaned every day, availability to buy some drinks in the reception, good location not far from city center and shopping center.
we liked everything:)
Big room, breakfast
Handicap room with twin beds. Weak wifi, thin walls.
Probably the best value for money we had in this 2 weeks trip around Iceland
A little far from the center
The Room was very big and comfortable with the possibly the best view from the hotel almost panoramic on the top floor.
Although the hotel itself was really good we did find it too far away from the main shopping area of Reykjavic itself, it was a good 2 mile walk into town. The txi is expensive for the distance. No room service for food which was annoying as the nearest places to eat were a long walk away.
It was very quiet and they solve a problem we had satisfactorily. Breakfast was good.
Rooms too hot. Maybe a bit too far from centre of Reykjavik.
