Service minded employees, very good WiFi, spacious rooms. Very good food in restaurant
A little bit too far from center of the city
Very clean and comfortable.
Staff was very helpful
But a few more happy smiles would be a great asset
Modern and clean Except for the shower Elevator
The too small Shower drained slow to the point of over flowing unto floor and smelled of mould I had to keep showers short
wifi included in room breakfast - a very good selection of toast, cheese, pate, cereal hotel pick up for day trips and airport bus good strong hot shower
about 2km from harbour and downtown but it is not a hard walk
Generally a good hotel
great Location with parking. Retaurant meal was excellent. Good room with all we needed.
Breakfast very Good The staff very friendly
Friendly staff Big rooms
Location (a bit outside the city) Limited choices for breakfast
Generally a good Hotel, good value for money.
Convenient location not too far from central Rekyavik. Easy parking (after 6pm)
Single room quite small but very adequate
Great first stop after an early morning flight in from Bristol, as the hotel was relatively easy to find, parking was convenient, and the lady at the reception desk was friendly and very helpful with good advice on our first day in Reykjavik. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfy, the showers and breakfasts were good.
Room rates seemed quite high for a hotel located above a Karate dojo in a less attractive part of the city. However, we soon found that the rates were probably fair when compared to other hotels in Iceland after the recent hike in prices.
Clean room Free parking Good breakfast Friendly staff
very very small shower location in neighborhood; glad we had a car
Nice and helpfull staff. The hotell is clean and fresh, surprisingly good food in the restaurant.
location was near centre of town, walking distance.
too small room (single). not clean
Friendly helpful staff, they delivered an urgent message to us immediately on our arrival; without us having to ask, they phoned to check where a rep was when the rep was late; they also provided a packed breakfast when we had to leave before breakfast time.
Nice view on Reykjavik bay, great beds, clean and big room, elevator
Staff were friendly and helpful
A bit expensive considering location Bed was too soft - no back support
The front desk was very helpful with directions and all the assistance I required. Comfortable accommodation. Decent diner also.
While it was a short distance away from the town centre, the bit of a walk was worth it for the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The room was a standard hotel room more North American sized that European sized - so nice and roomy. The bed was comfy and the shower always had hot water and great pressure. Breakfast was included which helps a lot in a more expensive destination such as Iceland.
Front desk and all staff excellent and super helpful and accommodating. Breakfast very good too
Thought it might be slightly closer to the center of everything but certainly walkable- not much in immediate neighborhood but still convenient and easy parking
Free Wi-fi, reasonable price, good breakfast buffet options.
The fact that the hotel looks better from the inside than the outside. Spacious room with great views.
The "Eastern Block" feel of the entire hotel. General dourness of staff. Quite surprised that a reviewer called the breakfast "plentiful" - it was decidedly meagre by Icelandic standards and served in a stuffy, over-heated dining room.
